@hxcmikemo The reason he did that is because Ogre 2 can will sniper ammo into existence with a 50% success rate. He is that awesome.

Now that I know what the Ogre Twitch is, I can't help but notice every time this guy does it.

@johnnyscrackhead It goes back to halo CE when your joysticks wouldn't be completely calibrated after a death. It got things back in order. Also, I've heard its to keep your hands active and moving at all time so you continually have a quick reflex in them

@mclovin779 It's called the Ogre twitch. In Halo Combat Evolved your cross hair would start moving to the side and the way to fix it is to spin it. Most pros now do it out of a habit and a lot of people do it because they see other people do it then just do it out of habit as well. Ogre 1 and Ogre 2 do it ALL the time so they started calling it that. After Halo CE it wasn't needed but it kept happening.

@maladystrife in HaloCE, sometimes the sticks wouldn't calibrate to be centered.....as a result Ogre1 and 2 would rotate the reticule in a circle to kind of refocus it. A lot of people eventually caught on, hence the term "Ogre Twitch." In H2, H3, and Reach the non-centering isn't so much of a problem, but the habit still exists.

@rmendbball i forgot to say swap the DMR for the BR haha. If Halo Reach had a BR instead of a DMR, then it would be a better game. Also, the only available ability should be sprint in MLG gametypes (no jetpack/roll-dodge).

@mrbriggs50 its called the ogretwitch people do it to keep your riducle moving around so its warmed up, and when u come to dmr somone you dont sudenly have to star dmring as it wont feel dodgy as you have kept it moving.

@vitaledits Actually.. The "Ogre Twitch" started in Halo CE.. They did it to calibrate their reticule.. That's where it all started.. Now it's natural reaction for them to do it.. A lot of people started doing it and it does in fact help you stay "warm" whenever you're not in a battle.. You're already in motion like you said.. Overall though, there is no real use for it..

in terms of Halo multiplayer, my list would have to go Halo 2 > Halo 1 = Halo Reach > Halo 3. Halo 1 and Halo Reach are both good for different reasons, but Halo 2 is the KING of online MP console shooters (along with Timesplitters 2).

@Jarbizu800 an MLG pro told me at an event that the ogre twitch was a mental thing like it just kept them focused nothing to do with the reticle idk what konyako is going on about the reticle for -.-

good game play but check ammo sometimes it's very scary to get into a gun fight with a light clip...........even though it didnt seem to throw you off

@TriiggerVids Well, you should be grateful that he does. This may not be the most exciting gameplay, but he gives a brilliant display of how to play this map. Throughout the whole video he makes about three mistakes. This is not on youtube as a fantastic gameplay (even though it is a very good score) but is simply here to show how a professional handles a standard matchmaking game.

@KrusteePanduh The ogre twitch has nothing to do with that. It's because back in Halo CE, the reticule would go off center and the ogre twitch was a way of getting it back on point. It was a tech issue. The only reason Ogre 2 does it now is because he's used to it. He's done it for years. In fact, he's one of the only pros nowadays I see doing it every game. Most don't do it anymore.
