Literally, Ogechi means God's time. Hence ogechi kan nma. Means God time is the best. Ogechi (God's time) is a name mostly given to female girl in the Eastern part of Nigeria. Its mostly a prayer of thanks given, when a child is born. That is, she came when God said she should come.
