The first time I ever heard this song, I cried my eyes out. I am crying right now. It is incredibly soulful and heartfelt, angelic, from the heart. Ofra was and always will be the greatest. She is so beautiful inside and out. Her husband was an evil man; it’s so tragic that Ofra fell for him and married him. He killed her. Rest in peace, beautiful Ofra. Kaddish for Ofra. Kaddish for my father.

@@nwfamspijn-amen2448 This isn't "messianic" music - This is *Jewish* music. You can't get label yourself a "gentile." Gentiles are righteous non-Jews, and *we* call someone a "gentile" as a compliment. You can't call yourself a compliment that can only be given from Jew to non-Jew. In case you forgot, we're less than 0.2% of the world's population, thus, what reason is there for us to use any Yiddish word to differentiate between Jews & non-Jews, today? If you'd like, you can be a Shegetz. Totally up to you. By proselytizing on such a sacred Jewish video dedicated to the victims, sung by a beloved singer whose deceased, I'd say it describes you well. EDIT: Also, it's disrespectful to project your religious doctrine onto Jews. We don't believe in the afterlife. People don't go to heaven, heaven is where God lives. God is not a man, no one can meet their maker. Judaism believes in reincarnation, but we're free to believe in whatever feels right and true to us. There is no Messiah. Next time, don't proselytize under Jewish or Muslim videos. It's a desecration.

"When mention is made of "saying Kaddish", this unambiguously refers to the rituals of mourning. Mourners say Kaddish to show that despite the loss they still praise God. " In light of that..it's quite funny you are saying Kaddish for freedom and tolerance.

My world before entering the synagogue was filled with hate, violence, retribution, and every manner of wickedness. There was scant beauty to be found - but with my first Shabbat service, I found the beginnings of peace, solace, and the stirrings of my lost soul having finally coming home. This song, among other Jewish spirituals, penetrates deep to the core of my heart and soul - and my spirit soars.

TODAH RABAH! It pleases me to hear through others that my work in the service of HaShem is inspirational. Whenever I do a mitzvah, I draw closer to the divine. It seems a great cosmic irony that I once loathed, mocked, and despised the Children of Israel - only to later embrace them as my beloved family. You too are my brother - and we are united in heritage, culture, faith, under the covenant of Moses. May we meet someday.

L’émotion me submerge à chaque fois que j’écoute ce titre .malheureusement introuvable hors you tube. Magnifique titre interprété par une artiste extraordinaire trop tôt disparue.
I am neither Jew nor Christian but her voice touching my heart and I can't control my tears.
that song makes me cry for you Ofra Kaddish
Gods sends angels and there beautiful voices call out to our people and they come to be saved !!! ❤❤❤❤
While announcing Kaddish she says: ‘Forgiveness for all the world’s victims’ and in her eyes I see not only compassion and sadness but also a tormenting pain. Perhaps she was deep down carrying more pain of humanity than a sensitive soul can bear.

I could listen to her for the rest of my life.
You never died Ofra.. I feel you're here when listening to your voice. You are alive, through your music, and in our heart you'll live forever. Kaddish for you Ofra Chaza. Amen

Kaddish for Ofra. Kaddish for all whose enemies turned out to be those of their own household. Kaddish for all of us that remain and are yet alive. Kaddish for the bride of the messiah Ben David.
B21- Kaddish is a prayer of accepting G-od's Law, in face of hardship. it is recited as a way to elevate the souls of our loved ones. It is a source of merit to our deceased ones through our acceptance of G-od's decree (even though they might seem harsh)

Such a magnificent voice. Her loss is humanities loss. Those who besmirch Ofra's memory don't deserve to listen and may their ears be sealed forever.

This is the voice of an Angel ! I want this song on my funeral !
i still get chills hearing her voice of angel. We lost one of worlds greatest singers. always a tragic loss. God bless her soul.
Oh, how I adored her!

This has to be one of the most beautiful songs with Ofrra's thoughtful introduction
KADDISH!! For the world, for the happy, the broken, and for my would-be Brother, who I never met but who I still love...who without has made me a lost and lonely only child. Surrounded by so many conflicting influences, surrounded by solitude. My heart and self are in great sorrow for the thirst of one day meeting you. You have never walked this Earth but have touched my life indescribably. I wish it were meant to be, that you were here to hold me when I was born. That you had a chance to be born. I hope that Heaven is real.

G-D is true and more real than anything you see around you in the natural. His Word is true, infallible. Heaven is real...the place of His throne and the home for all those who believe, call upon His name and put their trust in Him. He loves you more than you have ever realized. He has given you the way of Salvation, healing and everlasting life in His Son YESHUA HA'MASHIACH, the Lamb of G-D. Shalom

Also to have the transliteration to follow along would also be great. Could some one kindly translate as I go back and listen to her, her songs often. Thanks so much for posting.... Much blessing to all who appreciate her and her creator. Amein...

I wish I could have met this pure, beautiful soul who had nothing but goodness in her heart. She was a star that shined so bright and powerful, giving light to all. And she still shines.
There should be a love button for this song.
