Salty Strikes ended up being a really good day. We landed 5 slot Reds. Brought home two 26 inchers then filled up on Mangy’s. No Snook though. Ocean side of Jetty was rocking.

Hey Chris, great video. Small tip, when you're bottom fishing - also free line a dead or alive mullet as well, we have caught many kings and even Red Snappers like that, especially if your chumming.

Great video, last time down in Venice I caught a 30 lb Jack Crevalle...you are right they fight really hard. Could you do a video catching Sheepshead around the bridges...I have seen a kayak video catching them, it was awesome. Great fish to eat. Great Lakes Fishing Guy

Great vid Cris is this at the artificial reefs? What kind of conditions are you looking for when you go offshore? 2-3 foot waves with a 10 second delay or more?

Jon Kanner ... artificial and some natural but mostly the artificial reefs. We try to keep offshore days to anything under 2.5’ and over 10s intervals. If the conditions are right there’s always exceptions. Everyone’s a bit different of what they are willing to endure to get on the fish. 😁

*Nice Red Snapper Chris on a beautiful day... So how far back in time are you from today, 10/03 on this vid? Any ideas on what will migrating through or the predominate catch you are are expecting to be coming in the weeks ahead as it cools down?* ..gw

gw wile ... slowly catching up, I’ll be doing two video a week for a little bit to catch up. An unusual catch that’s been hot lately is Mutton Snapper. Pretty rare inshore around these parts. I just got a keeper (18.5”) yesterday. Ponce fishery is always changing. Too best keep up to date of what we are catching follow us on FB and IG, links are in the description of ever video 😁👍
