I feel like the guards were distracted by the car honking, so they looked in the opposite direction (compared to Gigi’s position) cause in that moment the car trying passing by was the main possible source of danger to focus on. @Giri_shiva if you see what celebrities go through, you won’t say that. There are people who harass celebrities, just to get hit and then sue them. It’s a matter of which is the larger crime? If he is a bum, he will get a week of community service at best, as what he did neither had a violent intent, nor a sexual intent. But if the celebrity chased him and attacked out of anger, that would be a violent intent. That is not self defense anymore because he had let go of her already and was running away. zaynisbae I don't think you understand what rape culture is and what it is we are upset about. Rape culture is not merely just thinking that rape ok. A lot of other things are involved. Such as telling girls what to wear and how to act. THIS is a prime example. Not everyone is reacting like Gigi was justified. There are some people (you can read them in the comments) that say that Gigi over reacted, that she shouldn't have lashed out, or hit the moron. They are trying to pass what this asshole did as something that's not a big deal. You did it yourself. But think about it from Gigi's position, a strange man comes up behind her and grabs her! She had NO idea of who he was or what he was planning to do. Nobody did until his identity was revealed later. So how can you sit there and say that this has nothing to do with rape culture when you yourself are trying to dismiss this guys actions as not a big deal? It's sexual harassment, no matter how you spin it.

This was so gross..molestation in public..and literally not even a single person moved to catch that guy..instead they were watching Gigi's reaction..shame on society!!
