Wow! My mom bought me a am/fm clock radio too, and that's when I started listening first to WLIB fm which then became WBLS and then to a station at the other end of the dial, WRVR. This was in the early 70's. Keep the flame lit...there's some real good music out there. Thank you from an old school music head for the post.
