    Just wonderful, I've been looking for "ice hockey player training program" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Banonnor Veyathan Release - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.

    Thanks for the info, I have 3 questions. What would we do during phase four to train power endurance? Also what phases would sprints and things like that be included. Also what phase do we start during anaerobic work as apposed to the aerobic work at the beginning.

    How can I do a good off-season periodization training if I go on vacation for two months where I dont have acces to gym? And can I practise a little bit my power during my strenght phase just to keep it good.

    If you don't have access to a gym, I would highly recommend using the Bodyweight-only Hockey Training program here: www.hockeytraining.com/bodyweight-program It will check all the boxes you need during this time frame. Also, I wouldn't recommend adding power work to your strength phase, that's the whole point of this video. Keep things progressing the way they should be, working on anything that's not the main goal of the phase takes away from your big picture progress.

    Although you're talking about the offseason program, is your mens league domination program designed in much the same way because of the different phases?

    Hey Brad, Men's League Domination was built similar but more of a year round program since most guys play all year. It was designed to be used in-season or off-season

    Hey what are do you think about circuit training is it bad for hockey ?

    Not ideal for hockey players because of the energy system demand hockey players need to improve performance. Circuits are very lactic in nature, whereas hockey athletes are alactic-aerobic athletes -- So, a combination of weight lifting only + speed/conditioning only training is optimal (and not trying to combine the two in one big circuit).

    On-ice work is a different conversation all together -- but I typically recommend athletes stay off the ice for Phase 1, then they can do on-ice work 1-2 times per week for phases 2 and 3. Then for phases 4-6 they can ramp it up and perform 1-3x per week of on-ice work.
