My first video about clearing snow off solar panels which is a weekly challenge here in Canada. It gets my mind thinking…How can I automate this?

Enjoying the content. You're headline of automating solar panels is getting me thinking for mine as well. Off-grid here in MB.

Yeah I think it’s very doable. I’d like to put some low temperature heat tape on the underside of the panel. I just hope it wouldn’t damage them

We just installed 42 panels here in PEI and with winter coming I was wondering where you get your solar panel snow brush Thanks for the content

Where did you get your tool from? Is it foam or rubber?

I'm curious about your ground mount. I am trying to figure out how I want to make my mount and yours is quite unique. It appears to be untreated, I also want to make out of wood, although I was going to use treated. Even with treated I worry that warping could potentially put pressure on the panels where they connect and crack the glass. Have you had any issues with the mount?

Ya never again on the roof, ground mount is just better.

I think that scratches may appear when you cleaning it mechanically.
