I met them once at a nightclub venue in Manchester, they'd just performed "Going Back To My Roots" I got to meet them after the show and they we're the loveliest people. The two women looked just as gorgeous in the flesh as they do on here, especially the one in the red dress, she was absolutely captivating. All these years later I still have my signed photograph in it's little frame. Happy Times.

Sandy Anderson passed away from the effects of the Corona virus. We were in a band together during my HS days. He then formed the band Unlimited Touch. A funky, disco band that had a couple hits on the R&B charts in the early 80's. He was also involved in the controversy of who played bass on the Odyssey hit, Inside Out. Many thought it was Mark Adams from the funk band, Slave. It was Sandy as confirmed to me by himself, the producer and keyboardist on the track.

@@Blu-Man Which one of the guy's is dead then? I remember three, the one who was on Native Newyorker with the afro, this guy who was on the other major hits, and the third one with the long hair on the later lesser hits. I once met these three when "Going Back To My Roots" was a hit and they couldn't have been lovelier people, they were all very friendly. Got their signatures on a promo pic which I still have framed to this day :-)

Wow loose studios, I'll be honest, not familiar with him (but very impressed is an understatement), so just decided to Google him up only to find out he has just been taken by 'The Covid 19 pandemic'.... 😢 Sad start to the morning,,, will be very much checking this very talented musician out and saying a little prayer for him, thanks for the information and stay safe, ❤️ 👍

Odyssey seemed to transform themselves with every single: the world-weary elegance of their first hit, 'Native New Yorker', gave way to the resigned despair of 'If You’re Looking for a Way Out'; the Caribbean dancefloor celebration of 'Use it Up and Wear it Out was followed by the triumphant nostalgia of 'Going Back to My Roots' and finally to this, the bleakest and most disturbing of their singles, the magnificent 'Inside Out'.
