ODIN DISGUISED AS TYR REVEALED GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK
Ойындар
Hey guys, STK here back with the playthrough of GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK PS5. Please like, comment, and subscribe. Enjoy the gameplay!
God of War Ragnarök is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It will be the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos and his teenage son Atreus. Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game will cover Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days, and depicts the deaths of some of the Norse gods, which was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur.
Taking place three years following the events of the previous game, Fimbulwinter, a great winter that spans three summers, is drawing to a close which will begin the prophesied Ragnarök. Kratos and his teenage son Atreus begin to traverse the nine realms to seek out a means to prevent Ragnarök while attempting to uncover answers behind Atreus' identity as Loki. Their journey will lead them to Týr, the Norse God of War who was previously believed to be dead. Their conflict will lie with Thor, the Norse God of Thunder who seeks revenge following the deaths of his half-brother Baldur and two sons Modi and Magni; Odin, Thor's father and King of the Norse Gods; and ally-turned-enemy Freya, who seeks revenge following the death of her son Baldur.

No wonder he reacted very oddly when atreus showed Groas prophecy...u can tell "tyr" got sort of angry finding out she had lie and the true prophecy is that he would die. Overall the way he acts trying not to start wars with Odin was odd because everyone goes through stuff but as Atreus says before freeing "Tyr", if he was imprisoned by Odin and he was freed his first target would be Odin and it makes sense so it was odd seeing Tyr act very traumatized and wanting nothing to do with a war against Odin

The way to avoid spoilers is whenever u happen across a video of a game ur playing, take it off recommendations or say “not interested” whatever it is. That way youtube won’t have it in your feed. I did it for this game and I never got any god of war in recs
My three favorite things about this incredible twist/scene: - Brok, who may come off as the “dumb” one because of how he talks, is the only one to recognize that something is off - In the middle of Odin/Tyr yelling “DO YOU NEVER SHUT UP?”, the subtitles switch in the middle from saying “Tyr” to saying “Odin” is speaking - When Kratos throws the spear through the mask, it pierces the same eye that Odin is missing
what I want to know is how did u get the game early?

In the trailer we don't see odins face but we see him everywhere else
Other than Kratos, Brok was my favorite character. Sad to see him go 😢
I had to put the controller down. I don’t know how much farther I have to go but I thought…nope this is a stopping point. This whole cast man, I felt from the beginning Tyr was not himself. They remixed the mythology well so that I disregarded his arm and after seeing Fenrir too I thought maybe he is the eye the whole time, after the attack on Sindri’s too. I don’t know how much left I have to play but I want several more hours despite the 30 I’ve logged
Lmao this video appeared in my recommendations and the title alone singlehandedly spoiled the major plot twist of the game. Thanks KZread That being said, great vid, watched it til the end. It's too late for me.

Ok I have a question. After playing the story and thinking back I can kinda see the signs that tyr was off such as some have pointed out his various reactions but I’m still wondering those who say it’s obvious what gave away “yep that’s Odin in tyr’s disguise” this part definitely changes the games perspective. Especially for Kratos and Atreus. Also I’m not trying to start an argument I’m genuinely curious if I missed anything that would give away this point is all cause normally I don’t miss the obvious in stories like these but even knowing tyr seemed off I don’t think I would have missed this twist if I saw the obvious. Love the story and world of this game still working on side and post game with even more little stories in the dialogue.

People who say it was obvious are either lying or got spoiled before. You could have a hunch that Tyr had hidden or false intentions, but it was just that at that point given that he was often a point of conflict.
