I see so many "I don't know why this doesn't have more views" comments but its not that hard to comprehend. The music industry, on a global scale produces billions of dollars annually. The harder certain music is pushed toward the right demographic, the more profit it cultivates. First time I heard this song I was sleeping on a coach during a rough time in my life. Randomly discovered this song and instantly took me into a another head space. Almost felt like I was on drugs (in a good way). I couldn’t feel my legs or my arms and my body felt like I was floating away. As stupid as that might sound, no other song has ever replicated that feeling. Hard to believe that was over 8 years ago. God damn.

Stood up 5 in the morning to get my train to an island. After the Train departed, I started to fall asleep. After 2 Hours I woke up, while the train was going trough berlin while this song was playing. it was so amazing to slowly wake up, seeing the sunrise in berlin and still being very sleepy while this song plays. there was a time where a terrible event happened in my hometown... i was really sad and it was late night, and i started hearing this song... the tears fell out immediately, idk how to explain it but it almost felt like this song was sorry too, like if it understood how we all felt and it was giving us support... probs sounds weird, but its true. this is what beautiful music can do.

For the first time in my life I moved away from home and lived by myself. I worked at a ski resort and they were offering free lessons to all employees. I remember the anxiety and stress I had when first learning to ski. Then I discovered Odesza and I was instantly put into a kind of vibe. I was so into the music that I forgot I was even skiing. Everything just felt so natural. Thanks Odesza for creating great music that isn't just for relaxation, but for life!

You see, now this is the closet thing to what real music is and suppose to be. Music should evoke imagination, emotion, feeling, thought... instead we get these bullshit lyrics in mainstream music that don't mean anything that then creates a distraction from the actual beauties in life. In a way it's like a baby food to a society that can't think or feel for themselves. I love these kind of melodies and sounds, cause every thought is gonna be different for every person that listens to this kind of stuff. This kind of stuff creates what I feel and call, "atomospheric". It keeps my mind open to anything that comes it's way. Whether it's thoughts of the past, dialogues, scenarios, depression, clarity, insight, sentimentality.. The mind lives on when it's doors are open.

I think this song really created who odezsa was. Their music was always beautiful but for some reason I get a huge feeling that this created their modern style with the vocal clippings and the clear summer feeling and of course just beautiful sounds
