Thank you for this! I had this exact issue and contacted support and they had no clue how to fix it or that it was even a problem.

How long will the grinder run without beans and is there enough time running it again to do this after a grinding session finishes? I am going to get an Ode, and would like to do that as that is what I always do with my current grinder to clear any partial beans that might still be in the grinding chamber - after it finishes with the beans, I turne it down near its finest settings then back up to where I normally grind. About a third of the time, it will grind some last bean after it turn it finer in this process.

if the burrs still bind with the motor on what can be done?

I felt that when I first bought my fellow ode gen 2 and neglected that dial getting stuck, is it harmful for the grinder? because lately I feel like the level 5 grinds for the V60 grain size became smaller.

How often do you need to clean the burrs?
