The way they tailored an excellent remake to adult fans via a trailer But slapped quick copy and paste “bloom” lighting FX to every interface to make it easier for casual players interact with. And use logic as an escape goat to explain why shadows have to come from vents and Lasers sensors needed frames

It's a place holder. They held a contest a while back where fans can make their own lines for "Hello, Ok, Laughing, etc" and whoever won best, their voices will be used.

0:49 "Hello!" I'm not gonna forget this phrase ever.

Obviously an instant-buy. There is no doubt about that.

I just played all games from the start. And I love them all so much, can't really wait for it to come out! Best game ever, it made my childhood!

After this re-make, start working on a NEW game much like this. I already own this on the PS1, I wan't a new fantastic adventure! I'm just glad you've gone back to your roots with 2D!

This game was actually made by a different company (Just Add Water) that made the reboot.

People always say oddworld is a game that adults play (the 2 originals not the new ones) but I've been playing it since I was about 7 on PS1! I'm 16 now, just got the game on steam on saved all 99 on abe's oddysee, now for Exodus! hehehe

When I was a little boy a used to play this game and now 10 years after,YESSS i will be a kid again!!!

i loved this game so much. I probably played through it at least 20 times on the playstation. Oh, how i've missed Oddworld.

One if my favorite games of all time, can't wait for this remake.

Oh woooooow, Scrabania is so exact to the original! Great work guys, I can't wait to see this finished! Very gorgeous graphics and smooth animation, lighting etc. My only grumpy gripe is the silly "mist" that comes about from exploding Sligs. It looks like a girly cloud and not ... chunky or blood-like.

Seeing this makes my innards all warm and fuzzy.

They really made a mistake by going full bright for the environment. This trailer's tone is way more appropriate as well as much closer to the original game's feel.

They may have a "classic" screen shift mode option. And I agree, it was the 'not sure what's around the next corner' suspense that was awesome.

Im an Oddworld fan since 1997, so please take my money and gimme this now!

Even if it's only a remake i'm just so glad that there's some new oddworld stuff! Hopefully this may be a sign that maybe one day we may get to see the rest of that originally planned quintology!

I can't wait to play this game. I loved the first two games and this one seems to remind me of the fun I had playing them. I only wish I could still play those first tow games again.

Can't wait for this game, I'm Oddworld's biggest fan! Got both Oddysee and Exoddus on my PSVita, and I can't wait to get Munch's Oddysee for it too. So glad that my hopes to see the Oddworld Quintology are back on track now that Oddworld Inhabitants is up and running again! May we all hope the franchise never dies.

You can still see that they need to polish up some things in this still, like the beep mines and so forth, hence why it's not out now.

Oddworld inhabitans. Thank you. Just simply thank you because this is what the original gamers or OG'S truly want. And definitely a new IP starring Abe with the same play style like the good old days.

This is a Pre-Alpha. They have to polish some details yet. We have to wait until 2014 to see the final product completely.

***** Of course. It looks great now, but I'm sure will look much better. Still a long way to the premiere. They have lots of time to make it a much better game.

I think this would be even more awesome with co-op mode.

It's coming to PC, PS3/4, Xbox 360, and Vita. I'm stoked as shit. Mind blowing creativity can be found in the characters and world of all Oddworld games. I'm glad to hear it's still in Alpha. The desert level could use some better lighting and a prettier sky in the background.

I hope they continue the series.

I hope they go on to finish the quintology that was originally planned. They only got as far as three games. This is one of those series that I've been wanting to see more of for a long time.

JUST so everyone Knows. Abe debuted in a time when video games like it were MEANT to be difficult and had true challenge, look at any game around this time they were all like that. This is what made them so lasting and appealing. Only the dedicated made it through, and with todays services like KZread, anyone can see the final level,s but the talented see them in-game. Consider that the next time you bash an overly-difficult game from way back yonder.

I'm not sure if I can wait until the holidays to download this! I want it!!! I really hope they do the next two and Stranger's Wrath. Maybe they will even finish up the Quintology they had proposed way back when.

This still looks like the originals. I don't know if that's bad or a testament to how strong the visual style still holds up.

The Odd game that put me into gaming... Biggest fan here..thanks for this guys... i agree with some who say some animations need a little tweaking... but i hope by the time the game comes out, they will make it right... Looking forward to it.. I remember the magic times back in the day. :)

Wii U version was confirmed direct Nintendo's E3 Direct today, so this means everyone will get a chance to play it. :)

The changes will happen, don't complain, we finally get another reason to have an adventure in Oddworld.

AWESOME! Now get back together Oddworld Inhabitants and make a sequel to Strangers Wrath!
