we need another library tour pls! also I was not gonna read Quiet Tenant because I really didn’t like Notes on an Executiion but now that I know it’s actual a thriller and the premise sounds wild.

Because you enjoyed when the reckoning comes, I’d recommend you Kindred by Octavia E Butler if you haven’t already read it but deffo look up the trigger warnings because it’s super intense

Scream for us has a full length novel. I just finished it. The first half is scream for us but then it adds more. It’s called bloodshed.

October was my best and favorite month to read.I read mostly bizarro and psychological horror.Carlton Mellick the cuddly holocaust and spider bunny were a couple of my favorites.I loved the character development, the action and the horror, gore.I loved the female characters in these 2 books

I'm going to have to check out night's edge then because I've read several post apocalyptic books in October and I'm loving that shit.Who knew that reading about the end of the world would be so much fun to read lol.Bonus points for bizarro content and female MCs

Have you read or heard of The Woodkin by Alexander James? Verges on extreme horror and it seems like something you might enjoy, I just finished it yesterday and I can't get it out of my head

Our wives under the sea sounds like The Astronauts Wife movie starring Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron. That’s obviously more a space instead of under water setting.

i just asked him & he said it’s normal for oppressed people to feel resentment towards their oppressor :)) also he said he loves me and he’s bringing me a coffee! and guess what? i love him too! i really like men who are nice but unfortunately 98% of men i’ve met are not nice!

If women speaking up and lifting themselves and each other up looks like blatant hatred of men to you…well then that’s part of the reason why women need to do that. You would be a great person to read The Quiet Tenant, you might learn something.

this is semi-joking, but my husband says he hates women and I tell him I hate men lmao and we are both just borderline meant to be gay. But in all seriousness, saying she has a "blatant hate" towards men sounds a bit hostile. I know what she means but you can't truly think she HATES men for having feminist values. It's giving, one-dimensional person if you think feminists can't be multidimensional human beings with complex emotions beyond what they say or show on social media.

I’ve said this before in Hailey’s comments but when women say they hate men, they don’t mean all men, it’s just so much easier to generalise than to be like “ugh I hate most men.” Obviously, she doesn’t hate men and this is obviously rooted in her trauma and experience. She has men in her life who she values
