ATONEMENT was such a good film. I haven't read the book, but the film did it for me. I had a strong disdain for Briony, too. Her selfishness literally ruined lives. It was so impactful to see how one tiny action can change the course of history. Makes a strong case for honesty and integrity, huh? WESTWORLD is amazing. Brilliant concept, and it is executed beautifully (though I would like an explanation as to how the weapons "kill" the droids, but not the humans). One definitely has to wonder if there is/will be a line, or if this is what humanity is coming to. Another great meditation on humanity and technology is the show BLACK MIRROR- it's on Netflix. You should watch if you haven't already. Hope you're having a grand time in Australia!

that movie was... heavy. Real tears every time I have only seen twice & that's one time too many. Amazing actors always loved James Macklemore Keira Knightley but boy did I hate her the little.

For me, Westworld is dragging and it really isn't thought provoking. I have a hard time keeping the storylines together (alive one day, dead one day, and then you're someone else), so I'm googling while viewing and it's just a lot of work. although it has started to pick up, I agree that this show would probably be better binged. Love the lippie and info on the pons!
