Season 5 just made me love her more

I love Octavia. She's a rare kind of character in the universe of TV. She's insanely strong and smart. She had that moment in season 5 when she burned the farm which was uncool but there at the end when she instantly gave up her role as Leader to Maddy 😢😭😊🤗 That was it. Most characters run their power trip into the ground no matter what, but when the time came Octavia gave it all up. I can't wait to see what's in store for her next.

She burned the farm because she didn't want them to go through hell again. Only choice she saw to get away from the Bunker that brought horrible memories. I understand that they had Monty now, but her being traumatized like that was taking no chances. Besides she was right that the enemy will never share the valley. And Kane saying it was for power? Well no because she didn't want to be a leader but since no one had claim that position she felt obligated to continue taking care of her people, when Maddie became the commander she give up and gave her the position; that shows she was a good leader and was only looking after her people.

@@menjivarjass well I think burning the farm WAS a bit for her pride. She had said they would march, so they would. She wouldn't have it any other way. But your reasoning is also good. But I think pride was a bigger contributing factor. She couldn't have someone not obliging to her command

Her and Murphy are so underrated

Octavia and Murphy got my attention the moment I saw them. Even though I knew Clarke was going to be the main character, they stood out the most. My top: Octavia Murphy Lincoln Raven Bellamy Clarke.

Loved it ! I have to say Marie killed it this season. How she portrayed Octavia, it was so deep and sad to see the struggle and the feelings... i have to say that one song came to my mind while seeing her grow up: only you by little mix and the cheat codes. I think it will fit perfectly Octavia !! Anyways keep up the good work😘

she is flawed in so many ways and it is beautiful. it made her human. she is a piece of art.

I know since Lincoln's death all she need it was a little bit of emotional support and someone to be with her, after the Bunker, well all the mean and horrible things Bellamy told her pushed her to the limits of becoming suicidal again, yet no one care for her.

Well Kane told Abby she had nothing to do and it was All Octavia. Abby told Octavia that Kane knew what she had said when Octavia approached her to be the moster too. But honestly that was a big lie, Kane had no idea and Abby told Octavia to brake him and that way everyone will follow. I wonder if Kane knew that if he would have forgive Abby or at least had protected her the way he did. After all it was Abby's idea that broke not only Kane but Octavia's spirit.

No matter how bad she gets you cant not love octavia Also in the dark age when she shot the people i felt like kane should've mention lincoln it might've stopped her :c ALSO THIS IS EPIC AND I LOVE IT

Hannah would it though? She HAD to shoot them to reduce population. Since they weren’t going to eat. When Kane brought up Lincoln before that, it was because Octavia wanted kill Ilian for other, less important reasons.

Well he had the chance when they had the first meeting and she asked for another idea/solution, he said nothing. Then Octavia was forced to do that because Abby told her to brake him and the rest will follow. Octavia and Kane did not like the idea but yet it was easier to just blame the teenager for that.

The day Blodreina was born 0:26 ! Octavia has grown so much for better and for worse. Wishing that her relationship with Bellamy will be patch up this season.

I think she would be proud of her strength but probably alarmed by how... utterly broken Octavia is. Losing Lincoln, then losing the close relationship with Bellamy really shattered her. Especially since she never felt at home with the Ark people, and has been kind of forsaken by the grounders after the bunker years.

She was honoring Lincoln and Lexa's idea to unified the clans to become one. She did that and with Lincoln by her side she would have not be left to lead alone. All she got from the others was misguidance because they couldn't take that responsabily themselves. Just like Clarke had Bellamy, Octavia had Lincoln, on the Bunker she had no one.

When She tells Indra she betrayed her, Indra told her she betrayed Bloodreina. Octavia asked her what was the difference, my heart hurt to see she didn't know the difference, but I guess it shows how lost she was and to make us see she was not being evil on purpose or out of power or vanity as Kane told her.
