IRL the top speed of the Police Responder F150 is 120 MPH. The top speed of the regular civilian version is 105 MPH. The police responder is a pursuit rated pickup and only comes with the EcoBoost. So the acceleration is pretty quick actually. For the Tahoes IRL there are several different ones. The older 2WD pursuit Tahoes used to get up to 140 MPH. Now they get to about 134 for the Pursuit 2WD, the Pursuit 4x4 is 120 and the SSV (the off road version with more ground clearance and NOT pursuit rated) has a top of 112 MPH. The Caprice had a top speed of 155 MPH in real life. The FPIU was 134 until they made the hybrids which can get up to about 140. The Crown Vic was 128. BUT if you got one with cruise control. Once you maxed it out, you can set the cruise was “walk” it up by pressing set over and over and can get up to about 135 in them. Done that more than a few times and miss those cars.

You’d think the pursuit rated F-150 would get the coyote due to its power, but I guess the Ecoboost is better for fuel economy and reliability. Hell they might as well use the Powerboost now for even more power and fuel efficiency.

@@carsonchambers5617the EcoBoost has more power. That’s the difference. They have more torque and more HP. As far as reliability, I would take the 5.0 over anything EcoBoost. We got the police interceptor utilities with the EcoBoost when they first came out. Department got 3 2015 EcoBoost and we had engine issues with all of them. We got 2 2016 EcoBoosts and had engine issues with them. We got 2 2017 non EcoBoost ones and no issues with them at all. We then went with trucks. We missed the order time for the F150 Responder and went with regular 2 2019 5.0 F150 XL long bed trucks and started having engine issues with them about 3 months after getting them. Then we got 2 2021 F150s XLT with the EcoBoost and they were fine. I would usually put about 90-100k on a patrol vehicle in a year. Some would drive a lot. The new aluminum engines that Ford is using is crap. Only difference is the 5.0 is easier to fix than the EcoBoost because less stuff to go wrong. You don’t have the turbos and inter cooler than can fail. My personal truck is a 2013 F150 with the 5.0. Never had an issue and I have about 150 on it.

Regarding the "not metagaming" when it comes to Boat Boy. I believe it wouldn't be metagaming if you went straight to his house without looking it up as you've dealt with him on multiple occasions and you have already established in-character who he runs with, so you could check his friend's house as well. A lookup would still be a good idea in case his address changed.

You would not be failing RP as LEO by knowing Chuck and Wilmer on sight. They are frequent offenders, trust me, Cops know exactly what those frequent offenders look like ,IRL. I'm not a criminal and lots of local LEOs know me on sight. And they definitely know the frequent flyers from a distance.
