Yes there were 'regular people' on board but way more than 1500 people die in the world everyday. If anything you're kissing rich people ass even more by telling everyone that they should be left alone and in peace lmao they were most likely the same kind of snobby horrible people we have now and have always had throughout history.

Even if OceanGate's customers were so eager to go on a trip, someone should have warned them. The British billionaire, for example: was there nobody around to warn him after checking credentials of Rush and learning about previous problems they had with Titan?... If one of my friends told me they were going on a "adventure" in some weird contraption, I would definitely do some research because I care about my friends. That also brings the topic of p.o.s. James Cameron, who regrets not speaking out earlier... He should have spoken out in public several years ago already to warn people against OceanGate! He knows that business sector very well.

When I was a little kid. 11 or something my friends and I were in the woods outside of the regular slope. Suddenly we found an old cemetery. It was so cool. 20% of the tombstones were broken or shattered. Not a single grave had been tended in decades. We had to rub stuff on the stone to barely make it readable. One we were able to read. Born 1798-1832. Just a name. No you’re missed or any of that modern stuff. That was quite an adventure. We went back a few times then the spot was bought by some apartment builders and they just built over it and bulldozed the graves away. Just a shot in the dark that we found it a year or two before they built over it. Wonder if those apartments are haunted. I have seen poltergeist.

No, more like an egg that can't be crushed by hand unless there is a defect, or a soda can that will hold a human's weight until there is a defect. It's all about balance of forces. The impressive technology developed by OceanGate is still in its infancy, but with improvements progress will be made. The carbon fiber could have been laid in a different configuration and with interwoven fibers that would absolutely mitigate any chance of delamination. With a cylindrical design hardly anyone ever thought it possible, but they did it, a world first at that depth. Just more work to do.

Yes that’s the problem but actually how could they stop it.???… Diving in International Waters requires NO regulations. That’s why all protests, including that letter with all the signatures, fell on deaf ears. There was NOTHING anyone could do. Why bother unless you had a real conscience. Stockton Rush was immune. The very wording of the waver should have alerted prospective clients but the adrenalin fueled excitement of actually diving on the wreck outweighed their common sense. Now hopefully with the Inquiry we will get a series of International Regulations that will regulate and standardise all submersible vehicles. But, even then, I’m guessing it will be restrictive only to certain waters. What we also need is a regulation to prevent the plunder of wrecks for metals that has been happening to wrecks in the Pacific and other oceans and seas. Specifically to war graves. Basically outside of territorial waters International waters are captains choice…felonies, crimes can be prosecuted but ‘beneath the waters’ almost anything goes.. As all countries would be required to sign off on new regulations I doubt very much Asian countries would be signatures to any such agreement. Piracy exists above and below the water…nothing is really going to change. 😪🇦🇺🇺🇸

There are no bodies as they've all been dissolved before you and I were even alive. It's not a graveyard. It's at the bottom of the damn Atlantic ocean don't be so dramatic. Plenty of "graveyards" are actual tourists attractions in the world. (Hiroshima, Normandy, Ground Zero, etc.) The Titanic doesn't make that spot in the ocean holy ground or anything just because a bunch of extremely rich people built a giant ass ship and the retarded captain decided to crash it. Yes there were 'regular people' on board but way more than 1500 people die in the world everyday. If anything you're kissing rich people ass even more by telling everyone that they should be left alone and in peace lmao they were most likely the same kind of snobby horrible people we have now and have always had throughout history.

Just like aircraft with metal fatigue with number of cycles determine retirement of plane. Without certifying or testing this new tech sub no way to determine number of cycles before failure. Just like car companies crashing expensive car u would need to test a sister sub to crush depth to study what gave out first. Was it the 1300 meter limited port hole? Was it the glue that held the titanium ring to allow bolting titanium end caps? Or was it the carbon fiber that may not do well especially with dissimilar materials. You also have the cold temperature and sweating(condensation) on CF. Investigation will determine cause. The titanium survived looking at video. The port hole glass missing. Many of the electronics not smashed like an implosion. Also with body parts can you really say implosion when no body parts are expected. The port hole could of given out in milliseconds with instant demise of crew. It would explain sheets of CF from wreck vs small pieces if implosion.

One of the materials used was carbon fiber. When submersible vehicles go under and back up there is a push and pull on the materials of the vessel. Carbon fiber will delaminate and pull from the bolts each time. This wear and tear was apparent to the inspector who was fired for saying that it was unsafe, refusing to sign off. That wear and tear caused a breach in pressure, allowing the cabin pressure to be released causing the implosion.
