Ice arrows actually have some use They freeze enemies. But most of all, during the bongo bongo fight you can freeze one of his hands and he will panic and try to break the ice off and then you can use the lens to see him and shoot him early.

Thing is it’s not required to defeat bongo bongo so even if it has some use they’re not required for the main quest at all not even in the master quest Well in Majora’s mask they did made them required and made them useful

I've had a run like that, where all my child items were in the tower. It was an odd run. Child Spirit was required for Light arrows, but the Ganon required medallions were in Forest and Fire. I got Sword, Slingshot, Boomerang, and all three Strength in Tower (if I remember right)

I've done 2 OoT3D Rando runs. She's a cruel mistress. A MUCH more demanding run than 64, as far as game knowledge and patience goes. I had every heart piece and container before I even had hover/iron boots and hookshot.

I did not just hear a person say "I forgot how bad this dungeon is" in reference to the ocarina of time forest temple 😐

it's kind of subjective, if you're trying to be objective it's obviously botw (at least from a graphics/mechanics/general content standpoint) but that's just because it's the latest addition in the series. I would say Majora's Mask still has the best plot though.

the first time i tried to catch the oot3d fish, i took rb 3 minutes. when i tried it on an other save game in the same mode it took 50 minutes and on master mode a gave after 1 and a half hour
