Klay and Draymond got paid very handsomely when they were good and they are rich forever, they don't need need or deserve max contracts, they already earned it and it was paid out to them at the time. It's insane to me that players can feel that because they won a ring on an old contract, the organization should throw out their future to pay you a bigger contract while your worth less. They messed up with the two timelines. Imagine what they could have got if they’d traded their high draft picks. Could have got players younger but in their peak. Now the best option for the organisation, in terms of potentially winning in a championship as soon as possible is to trade Steph. They need to improve with very little to trade etc, so they’ll be stuck in no-man’s land until Steph retires or is no longer at that level. Have to look at the Mavs with Dirk.
