The Police were always a big influence on my guitar playing. My band covers Bring on the Night and Message in a Bottle (the 2007 live version).

Rush I love , the police changed the sound of music. I was in H.S. First shows were from ghost/ every Nyc area they played to Shea . Sting inspired me to pick up the bass . Then moved to …. Les Claypool. That took Stewart out of retirement to start oyster head, and 3 nights at MSG reunion tour. Amazing. Can’t forget squeeze, the English beat and so much that came out in the 80s. Thanks, ya beat me to it .. lol ya nailed it !!

Reggatta de blanc is more accomplished but their first record is my favorite, there is an energy in it I cannot quite describe.

This is a Top 20 album of all time for me. Accomplished musicians elevating Punk. It is purposely raw, rough and unrestrained.

Just watched all of this. It’s simply outstanding! Everything is amazing.... presentation, personality, content, editing, interaction etc etc. Do you just do this for a bit of fun/hobby or is it something you want to do seriously/professionally as you absolutely could?
