Going to address this issue and pin this comment so it doesn't waste anyone's time even though I explain it in the video. How to obtain/receive a stream key 1. You can have 1 million followers or 1k followers and still won't be able to receive a stream key. Although 1k followers is a "requirement" it still does not guarantee you a stream key. 2. If you're on your Tiktok on a web browser and don't have the "Go LIVE button" You do not have a stream key. 3. How do I know if I have a "stream key?" I found out through a notification through the app. It literally says "mobile gaming Live now is now available" timestamped at 1:52 4. The notification received can also just mean that you got access to livestreaming on mobile only which is how I got started. I streamed a bit on mobile then eventually received a stream key so I can livestream on OBS. 5. I'm aware that in this video I explained that you can't stream on both twitch & tiktok at the same time, but this video was made before that change. You are allowed to stream on both platforms as long as the overlays aren't identical you shouldn't have any issues. 6. If you have access to mobile streaming I would advise getting a small tripod and point it at the screen of the game you're playing and build up a community like that for now and hope that you will eventually receive a stream key. It might sound like a ton of work, but that's exactly what I did. 7. PLEASE take this last take with a grain of salt. These are just my thoughts and opinions on why tiktok has this system for livestreaming. - They do this to avoid spammers, scammers, and possibly pre recorded livestreams which I'm sure you've seen and get pretty annoyed by it. - I believe tiktok is trying to become a very serious livestreaming platfrom and what do you need in order to become a serious platform? Serious and dedicated streamers is what you need. They might be possibly handpicking streamers or it might be all RNG. But what you need to know is that you should go into tiktok wanting to build a community first and that's what I believe they are looking for when handing out stream keys to streamers. If I missed out on any more info relating to this topic I will update in the future if necessary.

It was a breach of TOS when this video was made even though no one was getting in trouble. It is now officially ok to multi stream to tiktok BUT it is still not ok to multi stream to other platforms like Facebook and KZread.

I typically stream on Twitch, but I thought about doing both. I'm not dedicated to either, and I just started.. would that be a bad idea? In regards to Twitch, how do you have your chat and channel manager on the OBS studio app? I typically just open up my laptop and stream, so I can see everything and talk to them... It's a bit bothersome.

you can pop out chat on the twitch website then copy and paste that url to a added source media in obs. and then add it to the screen and there you have it i havent played around with how to get it see threw yet or custom but it cant be that hard

I know this is old and hopefully you found the answer but tiktok doesn't give out stream keys now, unless you live in the US and have 100,000 followers... You have to either find an agency that will give you a key or be stuck with the pile of junk that is tiktok live studio. Or pay a monthly sub for the likes of castr which apparent let's you multistream without a key.

So what if you dont have the go live button on tiktoks website when going to your pc? Ive had this issue continuously and i am able to stream on tiktok. Ive done it on my phone countless times but exactly WHEN do you get that button if you know or is it supposed to automatically appear when you hit livestream status?

Unfortunately, it doesn't separate the ratio between the two. Instead, it's syncs as one. You'd have to manually set back, or prerecord your gameplay (which I'm sure you wouldn't want to do) only methods.

🤔 so it looks like something’s become available? But my question is why does TikTok give you live streaming access to online mobile and not both at the same time? It’s possible that there might be requirements depending on the content made, how many streams you do in mobile? This is all speculation and it does raise tons of questions for TikTok

@@Hinter_den_Kulissen I think these are independent things. We can be live for 10 or more minutes, we do not get to use a rtmp key any longer.

From what I've heard you can sign up for tiktok live with an agency, not entirely sure on this method because I didn't try myself. But the method in this video is what worked for myself. Post content consistently, then hopefully get access to mobile livestreaming, be consistent with mobile live streaming, and then hopefully obtain a stream key at the end of all that.

@@Lobapixel I have a stream key for KZread it's been there forever but I need to obtain one for TikTok so I can enter the subscription program to start earning money I have over 1500 followers and over 800k views in the last 60 days on TikTok just from Roblox content. I earn money from KZread but only from my older content, they don't allow you to grow unless you purchase an ad and push the video around the world, but thanks.

You might need to find a third party software or app that'll allow you to share your tablet screen 👍

just so you know you can stream on tiktok and twitch. As long as the stream at the the same. for example if you have the layout for your normally tiktok streams it should be fine because its not the same as twitch

The farther the server from you, the longer the signal goes to the srerver, this is called PING.

It's really all based on luck for now! Hopefully soon tiktok will eventually give access to more people, but I would advise you to post content consistently and if you can go live on your phone you should go live for at least an hour or so! I believe tiktok is really looking for more live streamers on tiktok, so try to show them that you want it!
