@@squigglestheazz The best way to record PS5 content is with an external capture card. You can live stream the capture card through OBS on your PC really easily. You can also use remote play and capture the screen with OBS if you do not have the budget for an external capture card.

Prism and OBS are two entirely different companies. This is just click bait. Currently OBS has no support for Android. Streamlabs seems to work far better than prism, it has more configuration options and supports higher bitrates meaning less encoding for your device to do. This leads to a direct increase in FPS. Prism will cause FPS drops in some games when your phone is under heavy usage due to the level of compression where as Streamlabs with a high bitrate does have this effect as it doesn't overload the AV1 encoder chip.

Huh? There is a lot wrong in this comment. Are they different companies? Yes. Not clickbait if I follow through with the promise on the title/thumbnail. Higher bitrates have nothing to do with less encoding, nor does it impact FPS. Also, if referring to twitch, AV1 isn’t currently supported, only KZread and RTX 4000, Radeon 7000, and Arc Axxx cards support it in Prism, Streamlabs, and OBS. As for mobile, I’m not aware of any AV1 encoder that’s used for phones, but there are so many that I might be mistaken? I debated deleting this comment as some might not read my response and might learn information that isn’t true from your comment. But I’ll leave it here for now

@@DarkenedCyrus The title is 100% clickbait. I quote 'OBS is now on Android and iPhone.' This is not OBS nor does it have the same functionality as OBS, design or feel. The title is what makes people click not the video content, hence this is clickbait to advertise a product. Lets clear up some information here as for someone trying to advise people you do not seem very aware of the capability of Smartphones or the hardware contained within them. ALL MODERN PHONES SUPPORT DEDICATED HARDWARE ASIC ENCODING. The most popular is x264/x265(HEVC) with newer models supporting AV1. My Xiaomi Note 12 Pro supports AV1 encoding and has a Mediatek, Dimensity 1080 SoC (System on a Chip). This is an almost 18month old upper mid range phone. The reason they have this chip is to encode video on the fly as it is captured but of course it also used for screen capture. They do not use GPU/CPU resources for video/screen capture, they use CPU/GPU resources to 'process' the video, think things like image stabilisation, AI effects and such, though many phones now have a neural chip on the SoC to process AI effects off loading yet more from the CPU/GPU. All these additional specialised chips/chiplets are there to save power and resources as CPU and GPU can perform these functions but nowhere near as efficiently. It isn't hard to understand that phones have become as much of a camera as they have an actual phone so it isn't a stretch to understand that dedicated video processing ASIC's have been thoroughly researched and developed by SoC vendors. The phones support this functionality by a dedicated ASIC (Application-specific integrated circuit) contained within the SoC. The application in this instance is video processing. They do no use GPU/CPU resources until this ASIC chip becomes overloaded. One of the main causes of an ASIC and it doesn't matter if it is a PC, Phone Tablet or any device to become overloaded is well known and normally due to a low bitrate with a CQP(Constant Quality Profile) level set too high as these are locked on an ASIC. Essentially the ASIC is trying to compress the video to a certain maximum file size whilst trying to retain a certain level of quality but doesn't have the resources alone to achieve this. As per KZread's guidelines a 1080p video should have a minimum of 15Mbps or 1.5MB/s. The maximum setting in the app is 10Mbps which is too low this causes the ASIC to become overloaded. If you use a screen recorder app for local storage you will see that around 50Mbps or 5MB/s is normal to prevent overloading the ASIC whilst retaining maximum quality. So to set this at just 20% of its value is going to lead to either a very blurry and bad video and/or overloading the ASIC resulting in reduced system performance due to the CPU and GPU having extra work to do. Prism clearly chose to retain quality and offload. If you take a look on my channel you will see that my 10Mbps (prism) stream suffers from slowdowns and framerate drops during heavy load where as the video which was captured locally at 50Mbps suffers no such issues. Of course the quality also suffers but this is to be expected .The only difference is the bitrates as with ASIC capture the only configurable options are Bitrate, at this time we are unable to edit the CQP on a phone, only on a PC. This can only lead to one conclusion and that this high level of compression to maintain a small file size is overloading the ASIC and now using GPU resources, nothing else would cause a drop in framerate. The game will screen cap at 90FPS locally without issue with the average frame rate according to media inspector being 89.1FPS. Prism on the other hand struggles in heavy battles to maintain even 25fps. Both videos are being recorded on the fly with only bitrate being changed. I have been looking for an App which has an unlocked maximum Bitrate as I have super fast internet and can upload at 1Gbps or 100MB/s so recording at at my ASIC's native bitrate for maximum quality will not be an issue and will prevent frame rate drops. So far the only app that I have found which supports close to this is Stream Labs. It actually only goes up to 40Mbps but it gets the job done far better. I just have an issue with Streamlabs app and that is it will not connect to my KZread! To an RTMP server no issues though. I get an eligibility warning even though I am eligible. To put all this into context an uncompressed 1080p video would take 2.93Gbps or 300MB/s. Hopefully now you can see just how low 10Mbps actually is and how it could easily overload the dedicated chip on your phone. If Prism was to unlock its bitrate rather than fix it to a maximum of 10Mbps then I would have no problem suggesting the App to people as I have no issues with any of the other functionality. The comments on the the Play Store further support my findings with people complaining of frame droops during heavy load instances. I have screenshot this comment, it is against your EULA with KZread to remove comments which do not contravene their rules. This comment is 100% factual, no insults or anything else have been made, nor is their any hostility unlike in yours which is highly unprofessional. Deletion of this comment can lead to your channel being penalised and/or deleted by KZread. They fiercely protect the right to free speech and just because you do not like something because it makes you look incompetent is not grounds for deletion. I can provide evidence to support all the claims made in my response. All you need to do is ask for it. KZread already doesn't like sponsored videos and this is why they make you state if this is so, so to delete messages which contravene your sponsor which are protected by free speech is very dangerous grounds. This would very likely be seen as fraud to KZread. I have been professionally encoding video since before CUDA and Intel Quick-Sync even existed when we had to do it software based. I have temporarily enabled a video from 2013 - 11 years ago just to give you an idea how long I have been doing this.
