My dad has kept the same big ass pink sculpture I made for him in 8th grade art class for him in his car shop! He's taken heat from it from guys in his shop but you can walk into his business to this day and it's there! I'm now 27!

In my honest opinion, I don’t feel obligated to wear someone else’s gift. At the same time, I’m very appreciative because it’s the thought that counts.

Moms and dads have to ! Kids gifts are always out of love and the best of what they can do

I love the super Spanish look Adrienne has going on with the hair and the outfit.

Jennifer’s scarf is beautiful, love the colors. 🌈

My mom used to get me gifts & said “if you don’t like it let me know & I’ll take it back” but I always felt obligated to say I liked it because it’s from the person I love the most ❤️

I think it's different with gifts from children. I'll definitely wear whatever they make for me because it always seems like such a precious gift. A few years ago my little niece made me a bracelet for Christmas ... it has big bright coloured beads and glitter all over it lol ... but I love it so much and I remember her little face when she gave it to me. I wear it whenever she comes to stay and on my wedding day I had it wrapped around my bouquet. My hubby also has a big Superman sticker on his travel bag that he takes to work that she made for him which he always keeps on there and it melts my heart 💖💖💖

i think you're pressed lol. No one is saying she's ungrateful but she just doesn't like it. For example, if your mom gave you the ugliest sweater in the world, you'd appreciate the effort and money she spent on it but not wear it bc you don't like it. Just my thoughts lol....

Might be "tacky" but I include the receipts to my gifts. I'm not a narcissist- it's not important to me that the person wears what I have them but that they have something they like and will use
