Obj. 268 has the hull of old IS-8, buffed and renamed T-10 a lot years ago.

I got my 279 e in the dame game where i finished marking this tank, i liked playing with it overall, it is like russian T110E4, with a bit better penetration. Video was great as always keep up the good work! ;)

Honestly, the 268 v5 would be enjoyable for me, but the lack of view range for a tier 10 and the god awful ground resistances keep me from playing it more often. Even though people compare it to the E4 it still feels somewhat special to me, and if you like soviet tech tree, it certainly is and feels somewhat unique, despite being just a T-10 with a 152mm from 268. TL;DR Unique tank that can feel a bit challenging to play. For me that’s a plus

i got this thing for about 22 million credits back in the day thinking "i like 268 gun, a turreted version would be great" but in fact not a single tier 10 gave me such a disgusting experience like this tank, even type 5 heavy and foch 155 were more fun and less frustrating than this thing it simply has nothing to stand for it

I wanted to sell my 268 V5 if only it didn't only make 5k credits when doing so. The armor is completely useless, and the gun just doesn't seem to like me at all, except on certain occasions. Even if it became available, I couldn't recommend this tank to anyone.

Give the T-10 the gun of the Obj 268 and you have this hybrid, however, it's not too popular due to the hard way to get it. The gun works because the HEAT it has packs 395 mm of pen which punishes A LOT. You see a Bobject or 279 in front of you? The HEAT will butcher them like nothing. The most similar td to this one might be the 114 SP2 but keep in mind that td has a lot less penetration than this one.

that one has DPM and gun handling for alpha and pen. Also 114 armor is just enough to take HE, where 268/5 has enough armor to bounce light tanks and lower tier stuff on turret. Granted armor is still bad.

It has 850 alpha on console too. I used to play console. Haven’t played since the update in which they brought in 6.0 so since the end of 2020 I haven’t played. I was a decent player, had 3.3k wn8 overall with 61% wR with 20k games. If you want to you can look me up , KarimB128 but anyways. Console was so much better back in 2018-2019 compared to what it was in 6.0. But now it looks ok and there’s more hp to farm since arty has the same HP as light tanks of the same tier I believe.

@@XKsavX666 most high tier TDs with 155 guns have 850 alpha, I do agree it was better back in those years but with the Taran and it's 950 alpha makes the v5 look silly, I haven't really 3rd marked it because of CW, losing interest in WWII especially with the new mercenary tanks now, definitely don't see playing that tank around anymore, it was fun while it lasted, with arty and it's new changes to HP and Dmg, I don't dare ever playing it again, before it's patch I've dropped 10k dmg sadly it won't be changed back into it's original condition.

that battle on Mines could have been a Win if Shooting/Aiming Mechanic wasn't filled with RNG ,one thing that really makes me Alt+F4 ,one full aim at 100m easy shot Missed than next shot hit on the move at 500m -_-

Would you play the TS-60 tank destroyer and is the 121b or the 268/5 more effective, popular and makes money?

What this TD is missing is shell velocity leading to shells falling into the ground.

I hope it comes to WoT Blitz! I really like the playstyle of this and the 114 SP but they butchered the 114 SP and it plays nothing like on PC :(

Still can't believe console won with having a better tank ,our V5 has good concealment and it's alpha is 850 (just like our E4 still) and that really packs a punch but the Taran is still WAY better and too op

I have this tank and I do not like to play it because of the combination of things. Gunhandling is awful and it has no armor/hp. If either of them would be better I would play it. Not much HP and Armor, but good gun => Okay so I gotta snipe. No good gunhandling, but lets say 2500hp and at least good turret armor => eh, I can make that work. But neither good gunhandling, nor good armor is doomed combination in my opinion. Ah! And did I mention mobility is kinda meh too? So you are in trouble choosing your mods because everthing would be worth making it better xD

How can you say that tank is not popular when it cant even be found in tech tree?

I just had to skip an 11 minute and forty-five second commercial, shits getting ridiculous.

I watched a lot of your videos today, and after 3-4 videos I had to mute because you have a bad habit of using very overcomplicated sentences and saying very little with them. "very very" "extremely" "this is what we want and this is what we gonna do" "like there is no tomorrow" "make them regret their live decisions" are just a few examples. They add nothing to the content of the sentence but they make your sentence about 3 times as long. You use these extra additions in almost every sentence and it's just too much for the brain. I don't mean to be rude, I just want you to know that I don't think it's a good addition and can be a bit too much for your new viewers. Sorry if what I say comes out wrong, I don't mean it in a bad way.

Worst teir 10 tank in the game by far. Dont buy!

Not even close. FV215b, Foch 155, AMX 30B, Type 5 Heavy, Concept 5, M-V-Y, Type 71, K-91 are all far worse
