agreed. one more thing i would have done is make the cammo like a light tank. looks its big so it has shit rating but wheels do FFFAAARR less noise so i would make the static and on the move cammo the same.

Instead of turbo, I use it with 9% cammo

Me 2 on gsor 1010. I realised that mobilty is already amazing and u are usually static sniper Just changing positions from Time to Time but than camo is more important

On the Tier 8 i did that (or7?) Because Its already best Camo of the tree^^

Bond hardening is a must on the concept 5, it is the only way to have your wheels not break with every shot you take. Top 4 problems the tank suffers from are: Camo: You will be spotted at max spotting distance. Size: You are so large that more bushes than not are shorter than your cupola. Maximum wheel turning angle: Handbreak turns and the feel of the tank is terrible. Dpm: You will loose every single 1v1 in the concept 5, seeing how it doesn't have hesh to compensate. This tank has the hull of a lynx 6x6 but it took the dirtiest of bulks known to man. The turret is the combination of a e50m and ebr looks wise, it too took the bulk too far. It can be fun to play because that gun is special, but it will be the worst experience for those who don't know how to use it.

Hardening is not the play on a tank like this. If you're taking any shots at all you're already playing it wrong

@@Shnackzz I can tell by your logic that you haven't played it. The tracks have very little hp, every shot you take will break them and slow you down to the speed of a maus. Improving the track hp with hardening let's you run away when caught or surprised, rather than being eaten alive at 23 km/h. It is prone to being shot with he as well, which blows more tires off at the same time.

@@sir_vikingbeard5842 I marked it when it came out and tried to go the bounty exhaust + directive to max the camo. It helped to a little, but those tires really are a curse. A single arty splash near you combined with he spam, just makes you wish you had 4 repair kits.

@@Dalkian wheels are a curse indeed, healthy tracks are way better. Sadly I don't have bounty hardening. I will try it tho when I will get marks on the t10 :)

The gun is indeed the only reason to go for the Concept 5 (along with the speed ofc), to which I say that WG should've done something novel and give it 490 or even go balls to the wall and give it 530 alpha. Leo 1 has 2.8k base DPM and is the better tank in pretty much all aspects. Concept has 2.2k base DPM. If they bumped the alpha to 490, that'd be 2.56k, or 2.77k with 530(almost matching the Leo). IF the GUN is what makes this tank, then make the gun as scary as possible. Reward me from running like a chicken at next to max spotting range and trying to think of all positions I could get spotted from and obliterated. I've played this tank ~34 battles, had some 6-6.8k games, but the DPG fell to 2.7k overall(which is bad), exactly because I'm afraid to push closer knowing I'm driving a hotel on wheels. And with how fast the games are, sometimes allies will just plummet over the ridge-line or choke-point I was watching from afar and I can't just make it in time to get some damage in. It's really wild how inconsistent I can be in this tank.

I actually like the t7 from this line. Much better camo and has a nice gun.

Im glad to see you change your view on tanks . You once said you would never play bad tanks only good tanks . I enjoy this tank now just need to learn how to use it .

The best AP shell velocity is actually on the Matilda with 1341 m/s. The best at tier X is the Minotauro with 1303 m/s, and the CS-63 has the best AP shell velocity of tier X mediums at 1241, compared to 1230 on the Concept. As for penetration, there are some heavies and TDs with better AP pen, but the Concept has the second best AP pen on a medium tank after 262 on the 121. So the Concept 5 definitely has some of the best AP rounds in the game, especially since the gun handles better than most tanks with better AP velocity or penetration.

HUGE problem with the wheeled mediums is they don't have a niche. Everything they do some other medium can do better. They should've been given some function that makes them unique... Vastly superior acceleration on all terrains (with the same top end speed). Or rapid rotation of both hull and turret SOMETHING. Because right now they're just a bog standard middle of the road tier 10 medium that doesn't stand out in any way.

I hated the T9 and when I finally reached the T10 i expected to hate it much more, but decided to give it a couple of games, and i ended up loving this tank. I can't exactly put my finger on what but if I had to I would say that the mobility + the Gun just makes it a very fun tank to play

if they just gave it more camo and a hesh shell that lets it 1v1 mediums it would be perfect for me.

I understand your point about not comparing every tank to every tank but I think in this case its warranted. This tank effectively does nothing better than the Leo1 except for like reverse speed. Worse dpm, accuracy, pen, velocity, camo/size. It kinda just feels like it doesnt have a place in the game? I suppose not every tank needs to have its own niche but I think they could definitely help this tank out with some buffs that allow it to excel in areas the Leo doesnt.

I am certainly not a good enough player to make this tank work, but it was fun watching you play it! I'll get there one day :P

How is it that a 110mm gun does more alpha damage then a 120mm gun?? The damage values for the gun calibers in this game are super inconsistent and just all over the place.

The M4 Rev has 1460 shell velocity standard rounds at tier 8! About the only good thing going for it! I go with camo on my concept 5 rather than turbo as spotted = death usually.

How could we make this thing better in order to create a liable Leo variant? Maybe the camo should be not worse than Leo but rather camo should be better? Or maybe above average view range (this would nicely correspond with its height)?

The camo needs to be better for sure, in its current state it is merely a slower Leo (I think the Concept is a more sluggish tank) with worse camo.

does tank's size affect the camo of a tank? for an example if 2 tanks has the same camo but 1 of them is much bigger size,do the bigger size tank gets spotted first?

No the actual size of the tank does not matter, only camo % statistic. But a smaller tank will be easier to hide behind a bush. The concept 5 is so big it cant be hidden in some bushes.

M48A5 Patton and M60 have the worst camo value of any mediums.

What a bad play of E100, IS3 and Patton on Redshire. I don't understand why much players are so irrealists. If u can't push here(start by lose any hp, or simply low-forces), it's 90% times a death. Wait to die is not the way to play. Key is to back at the right moment and wait ennemies protected by houses G9/H9 and G8/H8. You can sidescrap, hit and spot for TDs/ or support from Iyouxin place K7. If you have an arty, this technic is better. Anyways it is powerfull way. But every time we see heros prefer die 2mn and tier6 score than use their brain. Why ? Not only balls to win.

Camo sucks, turning too slow, reload time without rammer is terrible. It's just like an awful Leopard or bad Centurion AX. There's literally no reason to play it if you wanna play competitively.
