His play style is my fave because if obi made his own character it would be the same as his in game one. The patience and focus you need to play him is very Kenobi-like

His bottom ability activates when you have the high ground.

Yooo, I picked the game back up a few days ago and LITERALLY YESTERDAY spent the entire day playing Obi-Wan wishing you would make an updated video. How civilized.

I enjoy the unlimited stamina build. Happens alot that I accidentally run into half the enemy team and I end up surviving even tho 10 people are shooting me and an angry old man is swinging his lightsaber like flash

@@katovomkoziesjus depends on ur playstyle tbh do you wanna play offensive or defensive and both require having good reads but with offense you have to attack first most the time which I think is easier but if u jus like kenobi then play him you’ll get it but I assume u already know this since this is a sorta old question 😅

Speaking of corners, one time while playing CO-OP I got stuck in the corner of a room while my teammates were spawning and the room was full to the brim of droids but I just held block and waited for my teammates. The room was the third objective on Naboo CO-OP.

Starting a fight with the high ground gives you a 58% boost in damage, 67% in defense, and 82% in health. On the rare occasion that a Kenobi and Grievous act out the first part of their movie fight, bost gain a 60% boost in all stats until one dies. The same goes for if a Kenobi and Maul meet and the Maul uses the revenge emote.

I like Safeguard more than Perfect Defense. Let it build up, which is easy enough against the amount of spammers in the game. Not only can you get up to the same stamina cost reduction, but it applies to everything. Obi-Wans base defense will be enough to get him there if you're using him appropriately.

just wanted to say that obiwans all out push deals 180 to 200 damage to trooper and deals the damage mentioned in the video to heroes so it can one shot all classes including the heavy

I believe all out push extended range card also makes the ability a one hit kill for the heavy class as well, dealing around 200 dmg.

Pretty solid hero guide However I’d recommend if you’re a good enough player to not need the extra health to swap it out for something else My load out is both his stamina cards And then depending on the mode I swap out his faster push or his increased defensive rush damage to make him untouchable Arguably those could be swapped out for more damage dealing cards too I guess but that’s just what I go with Fast push for hero modes Defensive rush damage for trooper modes

You should have added that when defensive rush is active you can't be locked on by Saber attacks even from behind

Honestly for hvv I would recommend: safe guard/ give it all/ forward! Gives him a much better Offenes and very good defense

Kenobi is my main and I just started recently, he's super defensive which is good against saber fights for me and it's really easy to counter strike

One of his cards enables him to decrease his stamina costs after defending against attacks. Ultimately, it increases his stamina by 40 percent and increases the number of attacks he can do to 17.

I love using Kenobi on Co Op. i use the 2 star cards that increase his stamina, and becoming a blocking god. Its stupid but its fun! 😂

If anyone is wondering a good obi wan star card setup use Jedi resilience, forward, safeguard. Safe guard is good because obi wan is a patient and defensive character blocking abilities shots and lightsaber attacks will literally increase your attacking stamina and you can go up to 18 swings or more.

I think you missed something mate. With obi wan if you are in an elevated position apposés to your enemy then your lightsaber damage is increased 999,999,999% , all of your abilities cool downs are set to 0 and your health is bumped up to ♾️

Ok but his lock on lunges can be pretty godly as well as his hit box detections on his swings they will usually find a way through your block

When does the anakin guide drop ?

The stamina card which reduces his stamina use by like 40% is kind of nuts in supremacy. I can stand in front of enemy spawn points and just block the entire teams blasters and deflect it back getting several kills. It basically eliminates the threat of dying by blaster.

You forgot to say that while he charges the left skill, he gains 80% damage reduction... Is good to counter Frenesi, mines of bossk, boba barrage... only hold the left skill to be tank :D

I use hp regen, stamina card and all out push quicker card. All out push allows me to get 2 to 3 free hits.

8:54 Mentioned Iden, Phasma and Boba, but didn't mention the most ability reliant character in the game (Bossk)

Btw, obi wan is very different in HvV and Hero Showdown, In HvV he can be countered by just attacking his teammates, but in Hero Showdown, if you wanna win you have to kill him. And if you’ve ever played showdown consistently I think most players know that he is THE best hero showdown light side character in the game, second best in the game only beaten by Vader.

@@iswiftyfox8997 yeah but he can regen twice as fast as everyone else can regen their health and btw vader is not on the light side. And some people play very defensive with obi-wan and that's maybe why some think that he is one of the best in hs but he isn't

There’s honestly no bad saber heroes, if you know how to use them. If it helps, keep in mind grievous can’t block blaster fire (not force sensitive), however he makes up for it with unrelenting advance and other abilities. Wish you well!

I find the best cards for GA/Supremacy are: Jedi resilience Forward and Safeguard. The ability to get 40% more stamina is insane! Safeguarded secretly his absolute game changer card. When fully maxed you can get 40% more blocking and attacking stamina! I noticed in your clip you ran out of stamina quite a bit. If you use safeguard you wouldn’t of had that issue and you wouldn’t of eaten all that damage. That Palpatine almost made mincemeat of you because you were really really low on stamina

Why would you use perfect defense when you can use safeguard?

I use Safeguard with the first 2 cards

Here I am thinking I’m a Luke or Anakin main. I tend to lose stamina on both trying to Parry everything. Now with Obi-Wan I’ll be unstoppable.

I go for one of the stamina cards, the health regen card and then the defensive rush card. That card makes defensive rush an amazing ability for killing troopers

I don't understand how you can freely run around the map. Anytime I do that I always run into half the team and just get blasted from every side meanwhile my team just sits back and watchs

That's true, but if obi wan gets his mind trick off before bossk is ready, bossk is almost guaranteed dead. He relies more on his abilities than arguably any other hero

@@raulrincon9648 Well, if you do a true 1 vs 1, no ledging, just both of them alone, you should always have a set of proximity mines at the ready. Plus, Bossk can jump to avoid saber strikes. I was playing HvV against a good Obi Wan and when I took Bossk I absolutely demolished him and our team began to lead with a bigger difference.

Im literally Achilles with Kenobi!! The best to play him is aggressive and defensive at the same time. You should never play defensive all the time players will find a way to through it. You have the health card, attacks and blocks drain less stamina, the all push cards, rush do more damage. These cards are great for assault but for HVV use the all out push and mind card for better advantages for against Vader, pal, iden, and kylo. I promise you the right to play Kenobi is aggressive. You won’t believe the amount of players that have complemented me about being the best Kenobi they’ve seen. Their words not mine!! But I’ll admit I’ll call myself Achilles with Kenobi only to motivate me to do better in fights.

I’m confused on how Obi Wan used mind trick on Kylo but Kylo still froze him at 6:53. This game is kinda broken

I disagree with Think It Over starcard in HvV. Mind Trick ability is completely situational. I use it before Defensive Rush so lightsaber heroes don’t stop it. Or against Phasma or Bossk. Extra seconds are not worth it in my opinion. I would prefer Forward starcard for bonus damage.

Does anyone know if his Defensive Rush ability also blocks saber attacks as well? Thank you!

I am pretty sure obiwans push does 200, since i always 1shot heavies. Another thing you forgot to mention is that during defensive rush, you are immune to lightsaber swings, but sometimes when dooku has duelist active, he'll still be able to hit you. IMO perfect defense is a really bad star card compared to safeguard, since safeguard also reduces 40% swing stamina and it barely takes any time to charge up.

If you use both stamina cards and hp regent you can aggro and take in 1v4s, it’s the funniest shit ever when you get 1v4d and all your enemies use all their stamina and their abilities and just either back off or give up and go for someone else cus they know they can’t kill you 🤣🤣🤣, by the team they give up your time usually hangs up on them from behind and they’re fucked 🤣🤣
