She is SO Anakin’s kid. Everything down to her snark, recklessness, and witty comebacks-it’s all him. 😍😂 But, she definitely has a lot of Padmé’s strength, stubbornness, and wisdom in her too. I love it. She’s literally perfect as Leia and a perfect mix of her parents. Anyone who thinks she’s annoying and stupid clearly didn’t connect that she’s deliberately written to represent Clone Wars era Anakin.

Then some strange dude with old robes and no sign on him that he’s from Alderaan comes and says her father sent him to help. She was practicing stranger danger. It’s not that difficult to comprehend she’d be suspicious of Obi Wan when she first met him.

She's an incredible actress! McGregor's already an amazing actor, but having her being able to go toe to toe with him really elevates the whole show. I really had no clue Leia would basically get to be the story's deuteragonist, but I'm pleasantly surprised and excited! I can't wait for next week's episode.

Some people say, that a 10 year old girl does not behave like this. While my 7 year old sister talks to me like that, almost all the time.

I'm starting to get sick of this phrase. The reason Star Wars gets so much criticism from its fans is because the quality of Star Wars has risen and dipped like a roller coaster. Now I want you guys to think for just a moment. Why does nobody say "Nobody hates Lord of the Rings like Lord of the Rings fans?" Is it because Lord of the Rings attracts a more easily satisfied fanbase for no reason, or is it because Lord of the Rings has maintained a much higher quality over the years?

Leia is as much being saved by Obi Wan, as he is being saved by her in this series. A wonderful dynamic.

I love the way her parents were so proud and containing laugh when she was putting that boy in his place. As if: "we need to talk her into courtesy, but she has the spirit and it was hillarious".

the young actress captures the pure essence of our beloved princess , even does resemble carrie fisher too. amazing casting choice . wasnt expecting young leia .a surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one. her banter with obi wan is awesome.it also kinda ties into why leia named her son ben solo

See, in a random tv show without any establishing earlier this kid would probably feel like an annoying Mary Sue to most. But we've had years of knowing both Anakin and Padme and even more years knowing the adult Leia. So all this snark, sass, attitude and bravery just makes sense. Just after a few lines and a scene with Breha and I went: "Yes. That's Leia."

People forget that adult Leia was 100% a trash talker XDDD Not sure why they do. Calling Chewbacca a "walking carpet" is kinda iconic. (Even tho Chewie didn't deserve that, poor guy).

Little leia made this show so much more enjoyable. She’s so bright and brave and compassionate. That kid actor is going places.

She’s a great actress. She sounds natural. A lot of kids sound forced.

Im gonna be honest here folks. I was expecting to be disappointed with the show’s first two episodes and I think having the low expectations actually eased me into really enjoying it. I like that Obi Wan is depressed and feels frustrated that he cannot be open to helping people as a Jedi because he has to watch out for Luke. Owen was almost slain by the Third Sister for not spilling the beans about Kenobi. I like that there hasn’t been a traditional saber fight yet. Obi Wan has always been creative and seeing him using Jedi martial arts and capping thugs with a blaster made me applaud. I actually like little Leia. Was she annoying? Yes but little kids often are. She was a brave little girl who handled her kidnapping tremendously well. It was also heartwarming to see Kenobi come out of his shell acting as a father figure to the princess. He protected Padmé when she was a queen and acted as her guard when she was a Senator. ITS POETRY IT RHYMES!! I cannot complain about the show. I feel like I am suppose to dislike it but I cannot yet. Reva’s acting is a bit much but I really want to see how Obi Wan handles being hunted.

I like how she roasted her Cousin Carrie would definitely be proud Also that scene when she thanks the droids.

indeed. She probably watched countless hours of reference video of Carrie beforehand. It paid off.

Leia: *roasts her cousin* Breha: That wasn't very nice, Leia! Bail: Yes, it was uncalled for. Also Bail when Breha leaves: Nice one.

"Then I guess I don't need manners, when I'm talking to you" I'm really trying to save that line for someone in my life.

Bail Organa is the only guy that legitimely can say to Vader 'Your daughter calls me daddy too!'

Seeing Obi-Wan and Leia interactions the whole episode was amazing, I can see why Leia would later say "help me Obi-Wan kenobi, your my only hope".

Leia: Make me float! Obi-Wan: What? No! Space Pennywise: I'll make you float! Obi-Wan: Fuck off!

She is SO Anakin and Padme's kid. She has Padme's insight and smarts, Anakin's stubbornness, practicality and gift for tech. She is also a natural and gifted leader, like Padme, even at ten years old. Poor old Obi-Wan noticed that early on...

Always thought she had her father's attitude while Luke had more his mother's calmness.

0:23 the moment I went from liking little Leia to absolutely loving her. She's totally channeling Carrie's spirit!

I can't help but smile thinking about Carrie looking down on little Leia. She's a caution.

Yep, that's definitely Padme and Anakin's kid alright! Right down to her mother's personality and wisdom, her father's snarky comeback lines and their stubbornness.

Another reason why I loved Leia. She had that "don't take shit From no one" attitude.

She's just like her LEGENDS self from Star Wars Tales comic.

I've seen so many comments of how she's the epitome of Anakin and Padmé (eh on the former, *definitely* the latter). But let's not forget about her father, Bail. She's picked up a lot of her mischievousness and wisdom from him, clearly. ETA: Like, look at how Bail's trying to hide a smile when Leia is eviscerating her cousin!

She really captures the essence of Leia Organa and Carrie Fisher perfectly!

I just realized that this is the third time LFL pulled the “Withered badasses protect a cute little child from harm and take them under their wing.” First with Din and Grogu, second with Omega and the Bad Batch, and now with Ben and Leia. Here’s the thing tho: I freaking love how different these relationships all are. Din and Grogu share a father-son relationship and Din views Grogu as a chore for most of the show. It isn’t until he realizes how much he misses him that he views him as a son. Omega and the Bad Batch are a sibling relationship. They already love Omega, and the conflict stems from them wanting to protect Omega and being overbearing. It isn’t until they realize that Omega is capable of being on her own and fending off for herself against Bane and Fennec that she’s viewed as part of the team. She’s trained with a weapon, given a comm, and even a bedroom. Leia is a middle of the road for Grogu and Omega. The latter can take care of themselves. Grogu is very much an infant who has to rely on others most of the time. Leia isn’t clueless like an infant, but she’s still powerless. She has to rely on Ben, and the conflict stems from Leia being a reminder of Anakin and his guilt.

You know, one of the little things that didn't make much sense to me about the sequels was Leia naming her son after someone she never knew. Now this show has revealed to us that it wasn't the case.

Carrie would've loved her. And she'd be VERY proud.

Little Leia here was such a sassy smart-mouth already😂 and seeing how she first met Obi-Wan personally like this how he saved her and established trust it's no wonder she then said he was her only hope in Ep4😏

Two episodes in and I already love this version of Leia!

I havent seen this show but after seeing these few clips i must say that the actress is good. She is like one would imagine Leia Organa as a child. Anakins stubborness and Padmes look.

They really casted young Leia so well. She really does echo Padmé, and the ferocious confidence of older Leia.
