Princess Leia is an example of how a feminist lead is supposed to be shown...Not invincible, but strong....with motivations and flaws....Leia set up the example of how you must write such a character.....She gives hope to others, she leads others...She leads the rebellion, she leads her brother, her boyfriend, she is also the reason why her lost son turns to the light side....And now we know that she even indirectly led and gave hope to her Godfather Obi Wan Kenobi.....Just for him to become her 'only hope'....What a character!! RIP Carrie, thank you for this Gem ....Look this little girl is carrying on your legacy..

I really miss Carrie Fisher.Seeing the little girl in the Obi wan show keeps her spirit alive.

Leia and Obi Wan’s relationship is what I love most about the series. Everytime Leia is on screen, all I see is Anakin. She is so much like her father. Besides this, I need more Jedi Leia. I would love to see a skywalker twins series where we can see more of Luke training Leia and see them learn more about their parents.

I like Leia’s role in the Obi Wan Kenobi show. I think it’s necessary, because there has to be a way for her to know who Obi Wan is before she grows up and sends a message to him. Leia: “Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi. You’re my only Hope.”

Plus, the need to protect Leia is a fantastic reason to have Obi-Wan leave Tatooine! Because as Bail said, she is just as important as Luke. Oh, and Leia's adventure helps explain why she was so excited to hear Luke say Ben Kenobi in the original film!

I adore Leia, she's such a badass character, not a damsel in distress. Rest in peace, Carrie Fisher, you'll be forever missed! 😇💕

She is one of my favorite Star Wars Characters of All Time. Carrie Fisher did an amazing job portraying her on the big screen and I can't believe that she is gone!❤

I think Disney got the right actress to play 10-year old Leia. Must’ve gone through many auditions to get the right one.

I recently finished The Last Jedi and it occured to me, Leia's lost everything. Han is dead, her son's on the dark side, both her biological and adoptive parents are dead, the planet she was raised on has been destroyed (which means any friends she made during childhood are dead), Obi Wan Kenobi is dead, and now she's lost her twin. Girl's got nothing left. 😥

And yet, she still had hope that she could bring her son back from the Dark Side. She was her mother's daughter... Luke taught her the power of love and hope in the force. If he was able to turn Darth Vader/Anakin back to the light side when she initially did not believe it, could not believe it , then she knew she had to try to bring her own son back from the darkness.. and succeeded. She brought the whole saga full circle. It's sad that it now rests on a Mary Sue Rey Rey, but at least Leia could be considered one of the greatest of the Skywalker Clan.. along with her brother Luke.

Not too long ago, I was watching a KZread Channel called "Cinema Therapy" where a Psychologist and a Filmmaker go over popular movies and analyze them to explore different topics in psychology. Such as "Megamind" for Nice Guy Syndrome, "Encanto" for Toxic Perfection, "Toy Story" about Friendship, etc. One of the best episodes was about Princess Leia throughout the Star Wars movies and how she was an example of a great Leader.

Leia's sacrifice saved Ben, got the dyad together and made all the galaxy stand up against Palpatine on Exegol. She now truly has a powerful meaning as a Skywalker.

Carrie would’ve been so proud of the actress who plays and embodied Princess Leia so much

You are so missed Carrie, you are the one I looked up toall my life so very happy that you got the part of Princess Leia, strong women, a Jedi who lost everything, but in the end you saved your son and was able to be with Luke and the rest of the Jedi. Go get them Princess.

Leia is iconic! I love her! I remember laughing so hard at her clapping back at Han at every chance 🥺 Carrie Fisher will forever be missed! 😔

My favourite Star Wars character loved leia

That little girl who played her in Obi-Wan is so adorable.

she's the best character from the whole franchise, a true survivor and warrior. Even knowing she was the daugther of Vader, she'd lost so much: Padme, the Organas, the planet Alderaan and her people, Obi Wan then years later her son to the dark side, her husband, her brother, her friends but she never gave up even in her grief.

My second favorite Princess after Wonder Woman!

One quibble with this video - if you had read the Rise of Kylo Ren comic that dropped right before TROS came out, it was established that Ben Solo didn’t destroy the Jedi academy. It was a ploy to turn Ben’s friends against him and set the final push for Ben to seek refuge (and his fall to the dark) with Snoke.

Sequels are not canon according to Lucas

Am I the only one that likes to pretend that the sequels never happened? I like to picture the stories of Luke, Leia and Hans ending as they end with three of them, Chewie, C3PO and R2D2 smiling at the end of Return of the Jedi as canon for me, with the force ghosts of Anakin, Obi-wan, Yoda and the rest smiling down at them, for me personally the 3 sequel films are not canon.

They bullied Jake Lloyd for his portrayal of young Anakin yet infinitely more annoying young Leia is somehow liked?
