I have never had a hound before but lost my Lucy GSD / Lab mix to a sudden illness. When I mentioned this to a friend he told me about a Walker who had been on a chain for his whole life. Long story short this dog house broke with one correction on the first day. We are starting obedience training . This dog is loud,lol at this point I have a velcro hound dog.

Wow glad I watched this. there is hope for my girl. I have heard people say they are hard to train, but I intend to be consistent and as determined as she is.

Exactly, they are smart. We just need to be trained to work with them.

If I could get my deer beagles to do that that’d be money lol heck I’m able to call them off a chase and have them walk out with me but this right here is good stuff brother

HI! I took in a rescue Walker, the poor thing was covered in mange mites and Folliculitis, and yes the rescue that had him was busted! So I hav been training him, I did exactly what you Hav been doing Really well, we did hav to hav him fixed.... he runs like a Great Dane ! So fast! And can turn on a dime! I really enjoyed your video and will be watching more of them, thanks for the tip on the 15min at a time training bc he does loose interest. Trying to get him to like his crate when we hav to go out for a few hrs, he’s going on 7months and is 21in tall (X the head) he looks amazing now his hair is coming back, I live in Va..

This worked with my female alker,but my very overly excited male redbone I think is too hyper 😂
