Question, my ELM327 arrived in ADHOC mode (stupid) for 6 years i would use it searching non stop for an STN or Infrastructre mode or Version of the product, one day i decided to see if port 80 is open , it was (HTTP GUI), i switched it to Station mode, i entered SSD, Encryption (WPA2PSK CCMP) and the key ( even kept a screen shot) the ELM327 connects a few seconds to the AP and disconnects. I made sure the AP is set to the same Encryption type, and key... I even set a static/Fixed in the ELM327 .. Any tips? The unit is close to AP, tried many APs, legacy, wrt54g, dd-wrt. different channels. no go .

Hey. Sorry, this is far too technical for me to understand :) . In my case it is just plug and play.

I have one but it do not connect to gollf4 ECU

It's detect voltage issues and recently i have problems new battery drain continue 3 days Auto electrician out heater timer then car battery work properly in morning

Hey, i have a 2001 e46 325ci. I have the same odb adapter and app on android, but it fails to connect to ecu. Can anyone help me out?

Hi. I used OBD Car Doctor Pro, but there is a lot of others that are good, Torque Lite, for example.

Have you used it for bimmercode?

Hi. No, unfortunately. The iOS devices don't support this type of Bluetooth connection.

I am using this but it give error not connected to ECU and I use different app for connecting but failed 😔 same error I'm using in Toyota Corolla 2004 1.6 3zz-fe engine

Maybe these cars are not compatible with the device, i.e. it does not support their OBD II protocols. Are you using the same device as in the video?
