Some people argue that Obama is "safe" with his verbiage or "too political" sounding that suggests hes holding back or being dishonest. I would argue that he sounds "careful" to be able to get his general point across without offending the over sensitive. When you blurt stuff out and "simplify" it is open to interpretation which generally distracts from the actual message. Agree or disagree with him, he is far more intelligent than many of today's representatives.

*Trump 2024 America First!* After Obama caused ISIS to become a terrorist organization, with President Trump's leadership and foreign policies, ISIS was taken out of power. After many years of U.S. leaders saying, they would move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, only Trump kept his promise and made it happen. President Trump got rid of NAFTA, which wasn't fair to the U.S., and created a more fair package called the USMCA trade agreement. President Trump secured the southern U.S. border, and very few illegals made it across before he left office. The Dems reversed that accomplishment. President Trump made the U.S. the #1 oil producer in the world before he left office. Biden reversed that in just a few months after taking office. President Trump had the U.S. petroleum reserves topped off before he left office. Biden gave away over half of it to other countries, including China. In Illinois, where I live, fuel prices were at $1.96 a gallon before Trump left office. Within months, Biden had the fuel prices up to $4.00 a gallon. With President Trump's leadership, more U.S. companies were coming back to the U.S., and the U.S. economy was humming on all cylinders. Anyone that wanted a job could find a job. There were record breaking jobs numbers for every ethnic group in the U.S.. Those are just some of the accomplishments from our great leader... President Donald J. Trump!!

@@tonystorcke It is what it is . Obviously you don't have a full understanding about what real "racism" entailed !!!!??? I know you've heard this before in total disbelief that "black folks can't be racist ." Well to your dismay it's a fact , and a well documented fact . Case and point : Can you tell me precisely HOW HAVE BLACK RACISM ADVERSELY IMPACTED THE WHITE RACE AS A WHOLE , NOT AS INDIVIDUALS , BUT A WHOLE !!!!???? Ways white racism has adversely impacted the black race as a whole . 1) As disgusting as it may sound , hell we didn't get the right to vote until 1965 . 2) We face discrimination in HOUSING , HIRING , JUSTICE , MEDICINE , BORROWING , VOTING in terms of voter suppression and gerrymandering . etc . So you see real racism which is deeply rooted in the fabric of this country has concrete consequences . By the same token you called President Obama "A fully racist President" no doubt is totally abstract with not a single consequence. Then you said "As long as the Democrat party intends to maintain power, race and racism must remain at the forefront." Are you pretending that the republican party and the American white folks are exempted from this calamity !!!?? If this is your take , then this tells me that you're completely maligned with that other BIG LIE . But let me refute this blatant lie you're carrying around . Where's the diversity in the republican party !!!??? Did you realize that "55%" of white folks voted for John MaCain . and "59%" voted for MItt Romney !!!???? This was an overwhelming majority . The opposition against this black man becoming this country's first black President was thick you could have cut it with a knife . So who's really , really "fully racist" here !!!??

During Obama's term I was not an Obama supporter. But in 2023 with the world gone so crazy and hearing so many heartbreaking things from so many different people of opposing views ... I could not help but listen to this and think ... "Well here is where all the common sense has gone" ... Over the past year My views have changed and my heart is broken. I have been far too distracted with some severe health issues to get into many political discussions and the like. But with certain friends sending me links and articles that go against how I think and feel today ... Is exhausted as I am just to survive each day ... I was starting to feel as though I need to start telling the truth about what I think and feel ... But then I listen to this and wouldn't it be a great idea to just send it to the people I disagree with-who don't know that I disagree with them ... And just ask them to listen to this, then try to defend their position or information but they believe to be true... I'm tired regardless of politics but I'm glad that Obama has come out to speak some common sense I just hope that he is wrong about the ability to knit opposing opinions together ... He is probably not, but I'm still going to keep my private faith on this . 🤗

Don’t let fear of people not listening to you stop you from saying what you believe the truth to be. Trust me, it always lingers in their mind. Then one day it just clicks in their head that what you said was right. For me it’s spreading the good news that God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that anyone who puts their trust in Jesus will not die but have eternal life in Heaven. Jesus is the only way. I may get a lot of pushback for my belief but one day, hopefully before they die, they will realize this truth and put their faith in Jesus. The devil has designed this world to distract everyone from the truth. There’s so much injustice in this world and putting your trust in the system that’s corrupt because it’s being run by corrupt people you’ll never find justice. But God will deliver true justice in the end. The question is, will you be on the right side when He delivers judgement?

*Trump 2024 MAGA!* After Obama caused ISIS to become a terrorist organization, with President Trump's leadership and foreign policies, ISIS was taken out of power. Those are just some of the great accomplishments from our great leader... President Donald J. Trump!

It is a duty to the individuals who aquire information to check their sources. Polarization based on bad information never solves anything. We all have to be vigilant to make good decisions about everything. If you only base a decision on what you hear without looking at other sources you've made a bad decision and a bad decision has consequences. I'm just asking all of you to think about this.

I have never in my life met, seen, or known men in modern times that are "afraid of changing gender roles", that "don't like it when women speak out and fight to have the same rights and power as men." Yet I hear this so often from certain left groups you'd think it's as prevalent as racism was in the 50's. I fully believe it's out there, but it's nowhere near widespread and common outside the minds of people in a certain echochamber that believe they see it everywhere. I've yet to see direct proof that this is a modern day problem in the US that men don't see women as equals.

But then we had mid term election and then another main elections and in both, Republics took hold while he was still president. They blocked every single thing he tried to do and that it was fun to do so. They tried to break him. They wanted the world to think he was a horrible president. Even when he presented Republican policies, they blocked him. They said they would block him, even if their votes tank the economy. They blocked his judges. Thank you Mr. Obama for addressing the issue of disproportionate wealth in the U.S and the adverse effects this undoubtedly has on sustaining democracy. This issue strongly signifies grave injustice here in the United States and therefore must be realized and perceived as a real threat to democracy. I would add to that, the antiquated, unethical and biased systems that undermine the welfare of the vulnerable in our country also warrants revisioning. I’m disgusted with the way the vulnerable are not protected when there are systems involved that should be protecting them. The vulnerable are met with an incompetent checklist and a blatant disregard for their well-being when their safety and welfare is clearly endangered through the United States tolerance for deliberate abuse and neglect of children- the vulnerable. Since when did justice equate to someone’s opinion of another person rather than on facts ? Why are people’s value determined by their socioeconomic status? Why is justice only a reality for those who have the monetary/social advantage ?

He used the patriot act more than George Bush, his buddy, did. He is a smooth bulllshitter who is no better than his successors!

Kind of a shame people focused on him being the first black president over how professional he is.

CloneShock... The Dixecrats were an openly racially segregationist sect of the southern Democratic party. Strom Thurman was a prominent member. The Democratic party as we know it today was nothing like it is now, back in the 20's and 30's. Back then the Democrats were anything but liberal, forward thinking, or racially open and accepting. The Democratic party today was an off- shoot of a liberal northeastern wealthy white elitist party, that did want racial inclusiveness, in some cases. Democrat FDR was elected 4 times as president before modern term-limits were proposed, and enacted. After Truman, everyone "Liked Ike", and voted republican for him. Nixon was Ike's VP, but Ike hated him, and told people, "not to ever trust that s.o.b." It was the 50's. Folks were concerned about making the cookie cutter American dream, the space race, and the dirty red scare! PS, history has also shown that ex-generals don't really make great presidents. JFK began a trend in the Democratic party Presidency as a forward-thinking, anti-racial president. Johnson as well. However, Johnson, even though he is responsible for the actual "meat n' potatoes" passing of civil rights legislation, and administrative policy, gets saddled with being a "nasty president" because of; his entry into office, and later into Vietnam. He was an establishment president, so his party wanted him to keep running, until Johnson's historic, "...if nominated, I will not accept..." speech on national tv. To my knowledge, the only US President who has ever openly done that.

If most people don't care about race, then there wouldn't be a racially disprorpriate rate of incarceration which is caused by police deliberately targeting minorities. The Jim Crow Era ended less than 60 years ago, which is still within the lifetime of many Black families living today including my own, so you can't say that most people don't care about race when we have experienced racial discrimination even in today's era. I grew up in the 1980s in which police regularly harassed me despite having broken no laws. My parents living through a time in which Jim Crow was still being enforced. So let's not pretend that most Americans don't care about race, even Donald Trump was investigated for discriminating against Black Americans in the 1970s when he violated the Fair Housing Act. He was given a slap on the wrist consent decree because he is rich and white.
