Sandra Kirk I know, I don’t understand it either. I’m at the point where I think he should just resign. He recused himself from all things Russia when he shouldn’t have, he recused himself from all things Clinton when he shouldn’t have, then there’s talk that he doesn’t want to investigate the prior administration because of some unspoken deal over the decades! I just wish Rudy Giuliani or Trey Gowdy were AG. At least I’d trust that everything that should be done, will be done. With Sessions... I’m not so sure anymore.

It doesn't work that way. In the House and Senate, there are Intelligence committees, under the constitution, that MUST sign off on any sale of any American assets deemed a matter of National Security. Where were the Republicans, who controlled the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2010? And besides this entire inquiry is about a Minning Corporation in Canada. That cannot be avoided.

You are jumping the guns here. 1. The Republicans were adamantly opposed to this deal back in 2010 2. The FBI concealed the investigation from the senate and other agencies. That is why Senator Grassley has sent a letter to all the agencies involved about whether they knew FBI had evidence of criminal activity committed by UraniumOne and the Russian company interested in buying it. It seems that you don't know American law. Any company regardless of origin, Canadian or not, doing business in the US is subjected to Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977. Saying its a Canadian company is utter nonsense. They carried out transactions in the US, using US financial assets. Here's the problem with the information in your link. The SEC only has authority to investigate securities fraud, that means a publicly traded corporation, and at the most, the SEC can suspend trading in the U.S. Uranium One is a Canadian Corporation that had [Licensening Agreements] with the U.S. ...that's it! The sale of Uranium One had NOTHING to do with getting approval from the Obama administration or the U.S. Government.The sale of a Canadian Corporation doesn't have to be reviewed or approved by either of the Intelligence Committees in the House or Senate.
