INGREDIENTS-
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 egg / 1 flax egg
1 + 1/4 rolled oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Awesome recipe... My whole family loves it.. Just a tip: Toast the oats in a pan and let it cool before adding, gives them much better taste

@@shuchitamehta5305 No, I didn't have brown sugar so I replaced it with white sugar. But adding brown sugar will give much better results..

@@saanvigupta78 hehe I just have brown sugar .. and that one is just kind of left over sugar .. we don’t use sugar at our home so wanted to use that and don’t wanna buy white sugar .. that’s why I was asking if one sugar will work or not ?

Hey man! The recipe was epic. We tried a couple of others before you but they weren't accurate. To which me and my sister were discussing and she said "voh oats wala bhaiya aacha tha". Also, I added 1/4 cup of peanut butter as well to give it a little bit of a protein edge. Thanks a ton! These cookies come out better than any coffee shop!

I have never done baking before, but after watching your video, I tried the cookies in Microwave convection mode. They turned out very well. Thanx for the perfect recipe.

I tried this one out today, and i followed your recipie exactly but i was disappointed as the cookies merged into one and turned totally flat, they did not crisp up at all. Please share some tips how i can avoid that next time..!!

You know? I've never liked oat and raisin cookies. The sound of oats in a cookie is just bleh to me. I tried this recipe yesterday, made half a batch and made a couple of changes... Substituted 1/2 cup butter with ghee and 1 cup sugar with powdered jaggery. Rested the cookies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and baked as suggested. I don't know if it's the changes that I made or what but they spread out too much and were very thin. But you know what? I'm so glad that it came out that way, they tasted exactly like a brandy snap. The looks of it was disastrous but they were incredibly good. Light and crisp! My my my🤤 I'm gonna be baking another batch today.

I made your Quarntine oats cookies without egg.Came out fantastic,right amount of chewy n crisp .To taste it exactly like Marks and Spencer’s fresh oats cookies I add 1tbsp of molasses ...It was perfect .Thank you so much ...

I tried this recipe and oh my god it was sooo delicious I divided the dough in half, added dark chocolate chunks in one (could not find choco chips) and added cinnamon and raisins in the other half. Perfectly crispy, soft and chewy.

Hey shivesh, thanks a lot for this recipe! I made half a batch today with flax seeds and its already almost over:D It was also my first time trying oats! My tip to others trying this out: The cookies spread a lot, so space them up or you'll end up with one giant cookie like me! Which actually isn't a bad thing😃

Perfect recipe except for the baking time. It is 180 degree in the beginning for a few minutes and then 160 degrees for at least 12 to 15 to 18 degrees in OTG.In all around 20 minutes and the cookies are really yummy. Thank you for the recipe. I'll always bake oats cookies following this recipe.

Hey it’s taste very yummy but have one question I have kept in the fridge for an hour or make very small size cookies but once’s I put in the oven they flatten like anything now I have one big giant cookies what was the reason .. I just replace white sugar with brown sugar pls reply so I can bake again for my son I used flaxseed also

Shweta Shah Not at all! In fact it was a bit more solid and the batter was a bit less creamy in flax egg than normal egg. Do it a try! Awesome one!😋😃

Shweta Shah Exactly in how much water did you make your flax egg?! Did you use 1tbs of powdered flax seeds with 2 tbs of water? If yes, then it should’ve worked.
