@HomeMade in Lviv I had learned working with wood from 1975 to 1979 in a very little german handcraft company. From A to Z all things. My master piece years later was an oak chest too, funny. A different design but all from wood. No screws in any way. Handles, the lock and the hinges. I got 100 points for it. I worked my whole live later in software coding in the industrial automation but i never stoped to work with wood in my free time. I love what i see in this video. Good old way of working. I had used less epoxy for the top part but that's ok. Very well done.

Outstanding work here. An heirloom piece for sure.

This may be the most interesting video I have seen for a long time. You may have the right machines for such project but machines are not everything. It shows amazing techniques, knowledge and devotion, but mostly, patience and attention to detail for such a time consuming project, something that most woodworkers lack. Congratulations !!!

True woodworkers have patience and attention to detail, however many KZread woodworker want to be’s are the ones without the attention to detail and patience. In the world of KZread there are so many “woodworkers” trying to cash in on being a “maker” but true craftsmen are few and far between.

@@marklumley619 Totally agree Mark. I don't know this guy's name, Russian?? Anyway...very talented woodworker. MUCH attention to detail. I especially like the steel sleeves and rods inside the handles and hinges. They will never be seen and there will be ZERO wood on wood friction on those important high wear spots.

True love of craft here. Fine work. But I bet you didn’t know that it was the perfect height for a pixie stool so she could wave her magic wand around and fill the world with bubbles. Just an added and cherished feature. She will have many memories of you as they age together. Way to go.
