The AC adaptor's 700mA @ 9v is 6.3 watts on paper, but if you are using a power station (like me) then you would also have to factor in the power draw of the inverter because you are going from DC to AC then back to DC so it would be a little higher. Still a power sipper for sure. My use is emergency fan for my bedroom during a power outage. I have chronic tinnitus and cannot sleep in a quiet room so the extra decibles is welcome here lol. I have an ecoflow delta 2 so the low draw is a huge plus as is the 60 hour runtime on batteries. I keep 2 boxes of 24 D cells in my emergency kit so I can be flexible with how I power it. This video and your 12v shootout vid made my decision easy! The Geek Aire is just too expensive and there's no (non-rechargeable)battery powered option or even a way to directly power it *edit: after rewatching your videos I noticed that your model does not seem to have a USB out port for charging devices off the 6 D cells. This port will charge devices whether the fan is plugged in or on batteries (note the USB is for charging your devices and not to charge the fan itself) Both are on Amazon but he model I got was less than $2 more for the charging port and took an extra shipping day (not Prime but fulfilled by Amazon)

Good tests but when you record the sound you should keep the mic out of the air flow as this adds noise not heard otherwise. Keep it up! :)
