This hit home. We lost our mum and my sisters had to hold the family together and take care of dad. We have now lost both our parents. My regret which i still live with to this day is not being able to be beside them.

What a nice movie. There's a big lesson in this movie.

This is definitely one of the most under rated Samoan movies out there. This for me hit home hard. With all the emotions you go through as a Samoan girl. Raised old school ways, to getting us to losing your Mom. Its a pain you'll never get use to, just something that stays in your mind & heart! Especially around the holidays!!!

I was 15 when my mum was called home yeah you never really get over that pain I’m the only boy In my family and have five older sisters We were raised in old school Samoan Christian values beaten into us one thing I’m proud of about my sisters is that we would never snitch on each other even though we all knew well if mum and dad didn’t find out who did it we were all getting a hiding that night I’m proud of my upbringing and wouldn’t change a thing except maybe more time with my mom and dad

the moment when the female came to encourage her back to youth practice. That hit me. The verse she used, ( I HEAR YOU GOD) even on me watching KZread , you are here. GOD BLESS US HIS PEOPLE , amen (( so far , I enjoy this True lesson in Life movie , Fa'afetai tele lava

A raw and moving film...Issues that hits home and a need for support in our community with families that face the unexpected events of life...also a celebration to the film makers and crew for an outstanding film🎉

This was such a good film. Even the main family acting was so natural. I would rather watch this movie than those Hollywood ones. Please make more.

It was a great movie. I was born in a wee city called Invercargill. When I was young my family was together and strong. Now everyone is gone. There are so many groups these days that are trying to destroy the family.

Our beautiful strong Polynesian wāhine, so much they go through. My Mum, passed on when I was 5 my younger brother was 1 and 4months my Older sister was 8 my older brother was 9. It's incredibly hard. My younger brother finds life unfair still to this day even as an Adult. My beautiful Dad, done a magnificent job with us. Dad and my sister cotton wooled and spoiled my younger brother too much. As an Adult my younger brother found the bottle, and with a know at all attitude its extremely challenging to give counsel too. I have to help my brother. My Dad pass 2001, I flew back home to be with my Dad, in his last days one of the nights I was sleeping by day and I had a nightmare and I was calling out save the twins save the twins my younger brother woke me up, bro! Wake up! Two days later 911 happen. My only memory of Mum is her face in the coffin. I'm lucky I haven't gone porangi. My remedy, "it's just life". Rest in Peace Dad & Mum.

This movie was very emotional the story made a lot of sense I feel for Mona and max Mona did the best she could but it was very hard for her to keep her promise to her mum going to youth church helped her and max but it wasnt easy for them when they had to leave and go back home max was so happy to see his friend its sad that the mum past but we still have to go on the dad giving mona a hiding that was a little hard to watch my husband is Samoan so he understands the movie and the Samoan life its very hard

This movie is one of the highlight for 2020, cant wait for the next one
