You are the train man, getting things done in a timely manner. Good looking mountains, and layout. You make me appear very slow with my train projects. Congratulations on your train accomplishments 🎉

Thanks very much!
That round house looks so real with the trains in it!!! It looks just like a real life one, with real life grains. Great job Jason!
Jason, I just finished having a look at that later KZread and a cab ride with your Loco around your Railway. I got to have a good look what you’ve done and all your access to various part of the layout one of things I do like that table and chairs, and your little lounge room I would say Railway is in the basement of your house. You got no problems with water leakage or damp at all. Yours, Jeff.
It is the 972 that Nicholas Smith ran a few years ago. Was able to get all the variations that they made: yellow, green, and the ketchup and mustard style as well along with a few other ones they put out
Great to see - you are going from a room with a layout full of track to a presentation with character! Lots of work to make that transition! Keep it up!
I like how you said this layout update on the discord that this was just going to be 5 minutes of the layout, and 20 minutes trains, 😂 loves this layout update!

Pretty accurate lol
What if on the side of the mountain where the track passes by, you had one of those concrete walls you would usually see along side highways when passing through a mountain or rocky terrain. It would look nice, and you could even have a row of buildings on the other side of the track! That’s just my opinion though. Anything you do will look great!
Another great video update, Jason! The new mountain is a great addition and gives real interest to the visuals on the trains moving through the layout. Enjoyed the Go Pro journey through the different levels and portals. Adds greatly to the atmosphere and experience!

Looks great......
Greetings to your young man well here we are in Rosebud , which is a suburb of Melbourne in Australia. It is now Saturday morning and it’s raining outside. I’m planning to do some work on my G scale Railway, but forget about that I just watched your new segment on your channel concerning your new mountain may I say this well done it looks absolutely superb. It is in good proportion to the rest of the layout. I’m quite impressed about how you did and planned your access points so you can get up inside the mountain or if there’s any problems with track work or derailments, and on a personal note last time I saw one of your KZread segments you were only engaged to your girlfriend Shelby but in this one you said your wife, so when did you get married? If it’s not too personal if it is forgive me yours, Jeff Melbourne, Australia.

Thanks Jeff! Yes, we got married already. It was a pretty short engagement (6 months). But we're very happy :) Hope you're enjoying the warm weather in Melbourne. I never made it there when I visited your country several years ago, but maybe one day!
I would love to come to your open house when you get the landscaping in. Nice video and layout!
Hi Jason, you need the ET-WNC 12 locomotive & the Yukon Gold 190 locomotive they are both at Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park in Boone, North Carolina. Thanks for the videos.
Looking awesome! The mountains give the illusion that the trains along the back wall are further away than they really are.
Your trains are awesome...so there😎💪
I can't wait to see you ballast the track.
Very well done video Jason! I like the height of the mountain. Will be a whole other look with the scenery. Can’t wait to see it and look forward to it

Thank you so much Jason I sure do appreciate it. I got my first Lionel train in 1953 it was the Santa Fe and passenger cars. At Christmas my brother always got trains for Christmas. My Dad worked for the Lackawanna Rairoad then it went to Eire Lackawanna, then it went to Conrail and he retired when New Jersey Transit bought it from Conrail. I've been around Trains all my life. All my Post War trains and MPC were all stolen from me. So I just kept buying more. Well now I'm retired and on a fixed income. S.S. and it's not much. So I just do the best I can.
Great job brother
Layout is really taking shape, even though it isn't detailed yet, it's a thousand percent from the plywood central
Selling not buying rolling stock? I thought I was on the wong video for a minute! 😆 Excuse the pun but the new mountain rocks! It's all coming together nicely. What's the future for the black pipe: blend into the sky or incorporate it into the mountain somehow?

Hey Jason, nice job on your mountains! It really does add a dimension of reality to see a train emerge and then disappear once again. Are you still interested in Conrail diesels? Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next update!
Love all the progress! I wish I was smart enough to make an access hole that big. I also spotted a Muncie and western boxcar on the line!
Great job.

Great layout. I have a 4x12 o gauge layout with one mainline and a trolley line. Feel Like I still want to go bigger. Something big enough for an o54. Instead of 036. I could only run legacy semi scale
Hello I just subscribed to your channel! I make train videos too but not o scale train videos however I’m planning to make o scale train videos sometime in the future I also film real life train videos like the N&w 611 train and I also am an big railfan KZreadr though anyway love this video !

I love the size of the mountains and the way they break up the layout into smaller scenes without being overpowering. How will you secure trees onto the paper mountains?
@JDStucks
7 ай бұрын
The trees will easily secure to the plaster with hot glue or you can puncture the base right through.
I have found that Mod Podge works great for stiffening the construction paper mountains.
What kind of tracks are you using ?The part in the roundhouse is fabulous , Merry Christmas !!!
👍👍
Great video! What are planning to use to cover the mountains or will you just be painting the paper? I'm in the middle of redoing my layout and used plaster cloth on the previous layout. I'm trying to get different options before starting mountain work. Thanks!
The pipes might "disappear" if you paint them to blend into the background.
Awesome video Jason! Congrats on finishing Mt. Shelby! Loved seeing your Berk enter the roundhouse. Watching the autorack train go through the crossover was a sweet shot. My favorite though was the cabview going through the bridge with mountains towering above. Once fully snicker that will be amazing! Thanks again! -Ricky

I often get comments about why I never use my crossovers, so I made sure to include one this time. I use them all the time but don't always get video shots of it.
It's about time thought the year 2030 was gunna get here first lol lol
Nicle Plake 765 is near me lol
I am a long-time avid subscriber and now building a layout. I have a few questions. 1. Do you use 3/4-inch plywood for decking? Is it finished on one side? 2. Why did you not use homosote on top of the plywood? 3. Why did you not paint the decking a color like brown before you installed the track?
Great video Jason! Can you share what GoPro equipment you use? Camera, mount etc?

Good morning to you Jason well here I am in Mac ahs down at Rosebud where I live here in Melbourne. I’ve got a question for you Jason 90 percent of layout. I’ve looked at on KZread specially American all thrail. Is it an American tradition to have three rail track. Is that a American tradition in the hobby yours, Jeff and all your KZread on the York exhibitions fascinating so much stock and shops over there gotta remember Australia’s only 25 million compare to the US 410, million here in Melbourne, my knowledge, there is no Ogauge 13:57 Shop is only two shops to cater for Gscale yours, Jeff

@@JDStucks ok that’s way cool! Never knew you could lash-up more than two engines.
Are you planning on using rock molds for the cliff faces and rocks on the mountains or just painting the construction paper gray? It doesn’t look like you’ve got much space between the main line and the mountain cliff.
