My grandpa worked for the Katy railroad I really enjoy seeing you always wearing Katy Merch. I am currently bringing his train table back to life, all his Katy Ho scale trains and getting back to work on the rails on the table! I love seeing you uploading and everything!

Thank you! I enjoy the gaps between videos as it gives me a chance to rotate through the different engines and such. You are right, each one has something special.

Chris thanks for keeping it fun!!! I run a range from early 30s on up to 90s... each has its quirks..which makes them lovable!! I just added a Lionel 5100 Northern .

Hey, Chris! Happy 1-year Anniversary on KZread! I started watching you back in the fall after I saw Jason’s vid with you guys at York. It was so awesome that you got to visit Jason’s and do a livestream together! I’ve watched that twice now since I watched it live! Can’t wait for him to return the favor! I’m currently constructing a new layout myself in my new home. I just got my new table constructed and am about to order some Atlas track. Never had it before, but I sold all my RealTrax to do this. I also bought me a new Z4000. I’m using my FasTrack as my test track. I’m really excited about this! Anyway, your vids are awesome! I hope to meet you one day! You seem like a cool and knowledgeable guy to talk to for sure. I’ll have to check out York one year myself. I’m in Central Ohio, so I’m a ways away. I have a friend who lives not far from there in Lancaster, PA. Look forward to many more vids this year!

I do go to train shows annually here in Ohio in Columbus and Dayton, but I'll definitely plan a trip over to PA one day. Free time has been hard to come by lately. I work a seasonal job and am about to go back. I also take classes. Life easily gets busy. Anyway, thanks again! I look forward to your vids and Jason's visit, whenever that may be. Hopefully sometime soon. Can't wait till then!

Happy Anniversary Chris! A great retrospective on your first year "on the air!" Keep up the good work! In this crazy day and age your videos provide a great escape from the "real world," even if it's only for a brief time. Sure, things can get crazy on the layout but at least those can be dealt with! It’s kinda hard for me to laugh at myself because I look at myself differently than I do other people, lately I’ve lost 6 subs within a month and that’s unusual for a small channel like me, hard to handle I hope I make it to y’all’s level eventually

Well done Chris. You’ve had a very exciting year this past year. You started your KZread channel off small, and have grown tremendously. I think I speak for all of us who subscribe. You’ve got a niche for this. And I think the best thing about your channel, is that you have a wide variety of trains that you showcase. You’re not just Modern Legacy, you’re Prewar, Postwar, MPC, LTI, TMCC, and Legacy. You touch base on all eras, and that hits home with me, and your subscribers. I personally like it because I love ALL eras of trains myself. They all have deserve their time in the spotlight. Great job my man. Keep it up. Hope to meet up with you one day.

The s1 trust I believe is trying to built a Pennsylvania s1 maybe we will be able to see big boy and the s1 next to each other. They are also using original plans.

Happy Anniversary! I love your videos, and your channel is my favorite. Favorite video is you MPC Blue Comet. I always loved the Blue Comet, and it inspired me to find my own, which I did, and I have the complete consist now. I haven't run the engine yet because I was advised that there may be a problem with the insulation and sound board in the tender, and if I blew it, it was next to impossible to replace. Not sure what to look for or how to fix it yet, if there is a problem. Anyway, love your channel and videos and look forward to the new videos you post.

The Blue Comet is always a fun set to run! Thank you for your support Joe! For your engine, there are a few screws in the tender that will allow you to open the shell and check the circuit board. Just make sure it is not touching the metal frame and you are good to go!
