'Mainly for Steam' event held in memory of Bob Lovell who organised the annual gathering of (mainly) steam enthusiasts in Salisbury for over 40 years. A wonderful mix of finescale scratch build, Bassett-Lowke and Bowman steam locomotives with an extensive three rail electric layout.

John, I agree the pleasure of meths with internal fireboxes is that you need the draft to draw the fire. And this gives the realistic sound effect.
Sir, where can I buy a set of engines and bogies?

Unfortunately there are few live steam engines available in O Gauge. The ones here are mainly built by the owners. There are some Bassett Lowke and Leech available on Ebay. These are pot boilered.

Right - all on 32 mm track and 7mm to ft. The Bowman layout may stretch the scale a little :-)
