Chances are, your ex fell into one of these two categories. Plus, men’s emotions tend to work a bit differently from women’s. Even though they can feel the same depth of emotion, it’s just harder for some men to BE emotional. -Sincerely, a man.

My Fiancee left me a year ago and this song makes me think of her all the time. They lyrics that really get me are the opening ones. We always fought and she would close the upstairs door as she left because we had a child together that was a sleep and when she got down stairs i would hear that door slam. when she'd get home i'd apologize for being a fool. after she finally called it off all i could think of was when she used to smile at me whenever she got home from work. I miss her so much.

It’s so funny how things change throughout time. This used to be the shared song of me and my high school sweetheart. I’m not even that much older now but I just remember where I was at that point in my life. I was very very VERRY happy. And to think to where I am now, I’m happy now as well. 8 yrs ago I met a girl, and it didn’t seem like it was working. I saw this video on MTV, and immediately after I switched to VH1 it came on there as well. (I never saw the video on either channel again… ever) I sent the song to her. And we married 6 weeks later and just celebrated 8 yrs. Thank you OAR and GOD especially for how it was perfect timing of seeing this and even meeting her.

Tbh this song has bittersweet memories for me. My dad and I would listen to this song a lot while my parents were getting a divorce. I still feel those feelings of pure sorrow and anger. Anger that I couldn’t do anything. Sorrow that my family was falling apart. I now know that it was for the better. Neither of them were happy. But my dad got very scary in the end. I saw him as the scary person. Idk why but this song almost brings me comfort knowing that I survived as well as my mom.

O.A.R might just be the best live performers in the world, whenever Crazy Game Of Poker is played (which is played at every single one of their concerts) I get into it, singing along, can't wait for then to come back to KC

Me and my wife separated a few years back and she played this for me 1 year before. I wish I listened as close as I am now. I decided to learn to play and sing this for her. I doubt it will change things but doesn't hurt to try and atleast she will know how much I care and love her. She really means everything to me. I would give anything to have her back.
