Solid effort good to slip in just above, it's in at caliber taxidermy in Timaru will see if they scored it when Brodie picks his boar up in a month or so

Awesome buck. Not 100% sure but I don’t think the guard tines will count towards Douglas score because in the footage it looks like the left hand one isn’t a “working” guard tine. Definitely a wall hanger though👍

Yeah quite possibly will score a bit lower than expected but that's how it goes with many good bucks there's always a weaker side etc, Brodies bush bashed his way round these blocks and learned the lay of the land to get to the point of earning this buck so think he's gonna get a full shoulder mount etc 👌

@@wwallaceoutdoors I shot one on March 1st that just misses out of the 200 bracket because of the whale tail in one side. It’s a shame because most of the fallow in my area on DOC have that trait. Still going in the wall though. Any way, good work👍👍
