The Lone tournament whilst in New York and it’s a big one. Co-event with NYKBF and Elite Kayak Fishing on Cayuga Lake. Arguably a top 10 lake in the entire world for bass fishing- this lake should kick out some big limits and big fish on tournament day.

Hey I was wondering what brand life jacket do you have? 2:59
PERFECT example of why you ALWAYS should have a jig combo with you! It seems to come in clutch for me every time the bite dies
Great showing man! Glad to meet you in person. THANK YOU so much for your kind words. We busted our hump from October of last year til this first event to make it one of our best. More to come! Thanks for your support Greg!

That's what I said. It is so cool to get excited from his videos. Next thing I know, I'm loading up and have a plan in place. 😂😅😂.
Let's go Greg sincerely "The Dayton Metro Smallmouth Slayer"🙏🙌🔥🐟.
Good job Greg, hey that was a REDICULOUS tournament. Kayak and bass boat tournaments on the same day sorry but that was stupid. They should have had them on different days. But you placed in the top 25 in a REDICULOUS Tournament good job man and thanks for taking us along.
I love it when you get on a jig bite. Almost as much as when I do 😂. Awesome
That 17.25 One leg Larry was a nice upgrade 👍
Greg, you really fished a great tournament. There were big numbers, healthy bass caught. That was a total mentor day for us, from one of the best anglers out there. Today i think that livescope may have given you some info. I'm a season or two away from that. But you should treat yourself bro. Great to watch epic, fun, day. 🎣 🌊 🛶
I live about a hour and a half south of Cayuga... my favorite finger lake by far, seems to fish the best!
My timing today, was impeccable. Great way to start the morning!
Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks for the kind words about EKF! Thanks for the support!!
You know Greg has a good fish on when he is whispering! 😂
The G-Man never disappoints!!! Up until your videos I thought New York was only good for smallies!
@GregBlanchardFishing
Жыл бұрын
Haha, smallies are definitely plentiful in NY as well. Saved the brown one for the last trip
Previous video talks about how losing the black / chartreuse square bill might have been a good thing. Proceeds to catch his early fish on a black/chartreuse square bill. 🤷🏼♂🤣. Sometimes that’s how it works. Great video
My favorite series you do brother! I learn the most from this because its in my state and i try everything you are lol
Perfect I'm over here watching old videos😂
Way to go Greg, top 25 is nothing to hang your head on. Especially when considering you haven't been fishing east coast waters all that much. Thanks for the vid this AM.
Dude.. well done bud. Love the debrief. Cheers
Thanks for taking us fishing with you 😎 I am sure that the Cally swing will do you better 👊
Good seeing you again, bud! Great job out there. Appreciate you! 👊

Thanks for your effort. Thought you where going to end up in top ten for sure.
Tournament day, you got to love this, the excitement is off the hook!😎🎣
Can’t beat Greg’s tournament videos!!
“ You not no perch” lol 😂
Nice job on switching up to the jig when it was necessary, I startled my wife with a "FK YES!" when you landed that 16.50 cull 😂

Excellent showing Greg. 21st isn't 1st but nothing to be ashamed of. I think it was a good call going to your jig when you did. The things you teach me by doing it is awesome. Much gratitude. It helps me so much when I see your video's. I need that excitement that you bring to get me out on the water as much as fish these days and for that, I'm also grateful. Keep up the awesome fishing and videos.

every tournament unlocks another piece of the puzzle...
I'm excited to see how this turns out! I love the early morning uploads!
Watching this while waiting for the ramp to open before I fish! I always keeping me excited to fish Greg! Great video!!
Shoot!Just needed a practice giant to crack that top ten..nice adjustments with the jig brutha👊
Man I've been working some long hours and I jumped back into your content on tournament day. Lucky me. Thanks for producing these high quality videos. 🤙🏻
Congratulations Greg on a very nice tournament/day. You definitely did verygood considering all the people in that tournament. Good luck on your next tournament Greg.🙂🍺
Great content as always man 👍🏻 I’m a UK lure angler and after years of slowly upgrading my sonar from traditional, adding down scope , side imaging, trying 3D and most recently upgrading to a Lowrance Active Target system (live scope) I can honestly say it’s a game changer. It’s not useable in every situation but it will undoubtedly put more fish on your boat and your tournaments will be won by those with it. Keep up with the times and ignore those that don’t like change! 😎
Man what a tournament a lot of big fish...good job Greg
Always a great day when you wake up to a new video from Greg nice work bud please don’t go to livescope I hate that people spend more time looking at the graph then fishing
WOW! As always, I was yelling at the TV (as if you could hear me LOL) It was amazing that you were able to cull with quality bass - lots of excited screaming in TV Land 😂 Many thanks for showing us how to adapt to challenging conditions. That's helpful in becoming an experienced angler. Continue enjoying your time back home 😊

Such a good video. Good stuff Greg.

That ain’t no perch! GB getting it done.😎
Great job mixing it up. Excellent content again.
Well done sir!
Congratulations on a respectable finish
Great job! Always enjoy watching your videos…
Nice adjustment to the jig! The fish were holding super tight to the bottom all day
Thanx for the desent info during the recap. ..well done
Great video and great tournament, homie! Was good seeing you.
Hands down, my favorite yak fisherman. Love your videos. I have my og friend Clint for telling me about you! I'm based in San Diego if you're ever in town please hit me up!
“You’re no perch!” Please don’t go livescope. You will loose me.
I've commented before on this, but Greg needs to put some 12-14" markings right on the side of his kayak as a quick reference for fish size. Put a couple marks right on the inside of the boat where you bring the fish up to so you can quickly measure it up. Super easy and convenient.
Great event and well done! Best of luck on your trip! Travel safe
Thank you Sir!
Been getting more confidence in the kayak managing 2 rods. Always get the bite when I'm tied up messing around with birdsnests. And getting the lines twisted. I'll either snap off from setting the hook too hard. Or not penetrate and lose the fish when it's pulling me. So many frustrating days, but when I do catch a good one, all the frustration melts away. Had a planned trip today, but 50+km winds is keeping me outta the kayak. Damn. Time for a greg video.
So Glenn became a professional fisherman? Interesting!
Nice showing! Way to adjust!
Hey man, just wanted to say thanks! You gave me some tips on getting pics of fish on a ketch board. Today I had my PB bag 76.75 inches with big fish! Appreciate the advice! A small bag in comparison to some of yours. But my lakes pale in comparison.

Yo Greg, just got to fish Kentucky Lake and got skunked. I had hits and follows but no takers. I threw everything at these jokers.... Anyway, keep up the great work....🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Dang man, not sure whatsup with that lake but hopefully it gets on the rebound soon.
Come fish in MN, that be a video to watch. 💯
Good stuff man. I was wondering the while time if mayby a chatter bait would have worked. Who knows. Still great job
Greggg add it to the tournament playlist!! 😊
Let’s go!!!
Yooo perfect
🎣
👍
top da pescaria
Hey Greg! Good to see you! I've noticed in your tournament videos you sometimes don't know if a fish will keep or not. Instead of taking the time to get the yellow board out have you considered using the pole already in your hand with a small 12" marking on it just to check before pulling the board out? May save some time and headaches! Good luck and see you next time :)
Living in the Northeast US, was surprised you focused on largemouth, but understand that fishing offshore is difficult in a kayak where the smallmouth reside.
Your bag in New York could’ve placed you in the top 10 in California.🤙😎

haha that is true
You and B lat got to make a kayak video together great work Greg on your videos brother
awesome to watch. were you in the north east region of the lake. I am heading up there this week if you have any suggestions on where to fish. Thanks
It seems that a perch style bait would have caught a giant.
Is that the 705 Dobnys cb 👀 love that rob for shallow cranking
Excelente!!!! Any idea of where the top five fished?? Sight? Coves? Looked as though you were in a main lake shoreline. Good Job Greg! Thanks so much for sharing your New York fishing adventures!!!

Thanks Angel and it was a great trip! I believe most of the top guys fished up north around the bridges and some nearby areas. Crazy thing is anywhere up north this time of year can hold some huge largemouth

@@GregBlanchardFishing Amazing. Very well done. I’m familiar with the area as in my motorsports days I raced at Watkins Glen and travelled the surrounds. That entire area is beautiful. Quite a contrast to Southern California. Yuk. Stay well sir.
Get that live scope! Before live scope came out all I did was look at 2D and Di to find fish so I could stay on them and live scope is no difference. You find fish and stay on them.
😎💪🏽🎣
👍💖
Bro last winter I broke so many hooks on those keitech jigs. 12lb line loose drag 7’3 MH F rod
Nice man! How did you place?
Great job sir. What was the crankbait with the orange belly? Good luck always, and thank you.
