They get massive in there. Had a day with 30 earlier in the spring and more than half were 4-6lbs

Hey it's Vinny Kraft, changed my channel name. Good choice on day 1 going for smallies. I always take 2 weeks of vacation at the end of May every year and stay at my buddies camper at Presque Isle Bay. We fish all over Erie the entire time, and usually hit up Lake Chautauqua a few times as well. Caught my new PB largie at Chautauqua this year 🙌🏼🙏🏼 The first 2 days of the trip we went to Cayuga for the first time. Smallies where just starting to pull up on beds. Caught a 20" and 19.5" there. Such a big lake. It's prob on fire there now. This was the earliest spawning on Erie I've seen since 2021. Goodluck tm Kristine, praying for your safety and a great day on the water! 🙌🏼🙏🏼🎣 Also if you have time check out Ithaca Falls before you leave. Huge waterfall, so awesome!!

Awesome vid! The NYS record smallie was caught in Cayuga. I did the replica mount for the dude that caught it. Such an honor to get that job. I love an hour from the lake. Excellent fishery.

Congratulations Kristine! So many questions…did you have all those bed fish located from practice? Did you consider stopping day 1 to save any of those for day 2? What would happen if 2 anglers catch the same fish? It seems like that would be a legit possibility if everyone is bed fishing. Awesome work!!
