An amazing double act, the characters were a great couple already but put these two together and you've got gold.

They're both just so so lovely!

The beginning of episode 3 is by far my favourite part and I just love rewatching it, without even the rest of the show. You know, I'd be like," oh I've got some free time what should I do? Let's just rewatch the beginning of episode 3"

Anya: Yes and no. I can improvise a good start and sometimes keep it going for awhile, and then (when self-confidence and struggles with plotting arise) it falls apart. I'm still trying to get the second story of my sequel to "Good Omens: Lockdown" going. It's not easy. Right now I'm creating notes files on my computer to record ideas when they come (sometimes it's as much as 17 pp in a day ... sometimes it's nothing for a week or two or three). I can't force ideas to come. It's a good way to kill a story in my case. I just have to be patient and wait for my muse to come back (she's apparently very busy with alot of writers because she doesn't come back to me as often as she used to). Btw, you can find my (and other writers') Good Omens fanfics at Archive of Our Own. Mine is under my real name (Philip Clayberg). Hopefully you won't need an invitation to be a user at Archive of Our Own to read what I've (and other people have) written. But if you do, I recommend it. So much to read at that website, that I don't think you'll get bored quickly (I've barely done any reading there, because I already have plenty to read offline; I'm slowly rebuilding my book collection after having to donate far too much three years ago prior to needing to move from one state to another). I'm also at The Paragon Journal under "Felimid" (an alias I've used off and on since 1988), but what's there is mostly poetry (even if the poems are sometimes more like stories than poems).

The show is so good, they fit & play off each other so well. The sweetie look of Sheen against Tennants red ever changing locks, there story is so brilliant, I so want more. DT suits red hair his Richard 2nd (RSC) he had long red hair, I think because of this taking so long to finish- worth it.

I don't really understand this comment. Richard II was originally in 2013 and revived in 2016. In 2013, he wore hair extensions and in 2016 it was a wig. Good Omens hadn't begun filming at that time.

Actually Good Omens has been filming for ages I saw photos for it (& red hair) before his Richard 2. Not too shore why maybe because both Sheen & Tennant are so busy. Things I 1st read about it were way before Terry Pratchett died, not long after DT's Hamlet 2010ish. I think it was trying to get it perfect & it is, I like his red hair so I don't mind why it's red. Hope that helps.

@@vj9021 You are mistaken. I saw Richard II on stage in April 2016 and he had brown hair at the stage door. I had my photo taken with him at a comic con in Texas in October 2016. He had brown hair and a beard, as filming on Broadchurch was about to begin (*I just checked, Principle photography for Broadchurch S3 began in May 2016.). Principle photography on Good Omens began in September 2017. I saw David at another comic con in Texas with his red hair in October 2017.

Hi the photos I saw were from before 2016 it was in I think Empire magazine. They may have been set up shots eg for costume or set. When I didn't think it would happen turned my attention to getting Jessica Jones on DVD (also not red hair). I was disappointed how long it took, I waited about 12 yrs for his Hamlet (from his Romeo) so 3ish yrs wouldn't have bothered me. As I don't have the pic I can't prove it but I am as shore as I can be it was them sitting together & not from another movie. There is a Chatty Man where he's interviewed with long red hair. What ever he did it was worth it as it's a great show, hope there's more.

What I love about Michael is how honest he is about his insecurities.. he is so authentic ❤

I’ve been a fan of David since he romped onto my radar in Casanova and recently as Kilgrave in Marvels Jessica Jones ~ Apart from those awful glittered vampire films I’d not really seen Michael in much (although he mesmerised me in those Twihard films) but after watching him in the glorious Good Omens I now want to adopt him ☺️ Both of these gentlemen are fabulous and perfectly cast in GO 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😇😈💟☮️

I just watched the whole series (without knowing who is playing whom, apart from these two) and I actually thought for a few times "This Newton's actor sounds an awfully lot like Jack Whitehall". But I thought that it couldn't be him because he looks quite different (I have his looks fixed in my mind from all the panel shows in mid 10's) and also he is a comedian, not an actor (and stand-up comedians are usually terrible actors and they know it). But then saw the closing credits for episode 5 and voila... it was him.

They said at SXSW this weekend that, because Michael was involved from years back, it was originally planned that MS would play Crowley, but that, separately, MS and Neil both came to the conclusion that MS would be better for Aziraphale and each was afraid to tell the other. Neil said he decided while he was writing episode 3 that he wanted David Tennant for Crowley and that he had written it with David in mind from that point on.
