The world is a lesser place without Trevor. He brought so much energy, humility, fun and genuineness everywhere. I aspired to have a personality as bright as his. Everytime I saw them live, it seemed like he was having the time of his life with the energy he brought and how much fun he looked to be having. Willing to go out into the crowd and talk to people after their set, watch the other bands perform. Just a tragic fucking loss for all of us. I wish the best for his family, friends and band, I cant imagine the loss they feel. Wherever you are, I hope you know you were loved.

Dont be sorry that was his source of power.
I'm actually astonished that pretty much all of them either were cool with it or at least were amused, no one straight out hated it or disrespected the genre. I know that we should not try to pander to the haters who can't acknowledge that metal requires talent, but honestly I've gotten sick of expecting newbies of understanding why metal is so awesome. The type of people who can't distinguish metal from actual noise do not deserve a second of our attention.

You think they went walking the streets of New York and only got 4 people to listen. Lmfao. I'm sure he got some negative reactions but that would of been redundant to include in this video dummy cause this video was part of the promotion for nightbringers. There was probably a good amount who recognized him and ready knew the music they'd still get to listen and react but it wouldn't make sense in this video.
Black dude at 1:42 is my absolute fav and speaks the truth haha "Its not my thing but I can see for someone who it is it being some turn up" 😂😂😂 Perfect description

I still can't believe he's gone... Dude was so fucking hilarious, kind, generous and not to mention extremely talented, creative and inspiring. Such a huge loss. Rest In Power, Trevor, you are missed.
Got into these guys the last 3-4 months just introduced to them, literally been obsessed with their discography, what a vocalist and all round cool guy, it’s ok to speak up and not to be ok 🖤

have you checked them out more? they arent one of those silly bands that take the dark themes seriously, id bet they are athiests, and their albums are full of technical masterpieces choked full of retro videogame (mostly castlevania, my favorite retro game franchise) tbdm is one of the last truly great metal bands on a major label. no compromise and best of all NO pop element at all like their pussy metal core collegues (august burns red etc)

I was 15 when my HS junior friend loaded my Ipod with probably 4g of metal, metalcore, hardcore, deathcore.. This was the second band I ever listened to on the new playlist.. I'm 28 today and just saw the news. Rest In Peace brother, it's been a long road.

Nicklaus Books I'm a black metalhead and I'm a gay to.
He was so unique, I mean BDM has always been a fun band in my book, him and Bryan being the soul of the band, very unique individuals. So sad, yet I do believe Trevor got to live his dream of kicking ass in a great band knowing a lot of us appreciate their art. This hurts man, kinda fell the same when I found out Dimebag had died, I mean these guys are like legends in our eyes, as a Metal fan it hurts a lot. R.I.P. Trevor, you’ll be missed, thanks for the wonderful music.
coming back to these Trevor videos after hearing the news of his passing… You will be greatly missed Trev.
Saw this video couple years ago and it's sad to know that Trevor is not with us anymore (but with his music) RIP.
R.I.P brother you are a legend and always will be. You were the biggest influence in my teenage years. Thank you everything you gave us.
I was Fortunate enough to have met Trevor at my very first Black Dahlia Murder show back in October of 2009. Deflorlate had just come out and they were opening for Children of Bodom in Pomona, California. After their set I headed outside in the back of the venue to get some fresh air and there he was doing the same. He was all sweaty from their set but I didn’t even care! I gave that dude such a massive hug and we just talked about music for about 5 mins Just me, him and my girlfriend at the time because everyone else was watching the Bodom set. I still have the pic of us. I put it down when I say he was the nicest musician that I ever met. I am so fucking sad that Trevor felt the need to Un-Alive himself. So much people were here for you man. 💔 May you Rest in Peace

I love how goofy he is. So wild that he can bring those awesome vocals from such a nerdy guy. Love it
I grew up listening to tbdm and still listen to them to this very day. I just found out today Trevor just passed and completely heartbroken.. Rest In Peace Trevor, tbdm will forever live on in spirit!!
RIP Trevor, sad I never got to see you live my friend. You're one of the greats!

we will miss you forever. this is only coming from a fan and saw you perform twice in my life. but raged you in my ears for years. can't even imagine what your family and friends are going through. i have my reasons for saying i will miss you. music is personal and very much beloved by myself. i miss you and i thank you, for everything you stood for.
Such a genuine soul. I've only talked with him a handful of times, but miss him dearly man.

Man I miss seeing Trevor at shows. Was always the most humble guy that appreciated each and every fan to the fullest.

Miss this man so much. Don’t know if I can even go to their 23’ tour bc I will just cry. Rip Trevor.
WE LOVE YOU TREVOR!! 💔😭 RIP THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
New York is metal as hell!
Love you trevor. You finally are complete 💗
I remember first hearing trevors voice in funeral thirst almost 20 years ago now on TV at my friends house. It was my first time hearing death metal and that low growl was crazy sounding to me I loved it. My friends older brother made us turn the channel because it scared him which only made me enjoy it more haha. Anyways, til this day I still listen to tbdm and was severely saddened to hear about his passing. RIP Trevor you will truly be missed man
I really think people are starting to warm up to metal in general nowadays. A lot of things to be angry about and shit. Metal helps you release the beast, get all that pent up anger and hype out. TBDM ftw
this is awesome... i cant wait for the release
I just got back from Times square. Wish i went down earlier in the month now. It would have been mind blowing to see Trevor hanging out down there.
I heard this band for the first time live at knotfest. The singer pointed me out from the crowd, it was a great experience.
aw man he seemed so chill :(.
The black dahlia murder is just such an impressive and professional band... the amount of work these guys put into the band is just phenomenal \m/,
the brothers in this vid are hysterical. Love it!
RIP Trevor hard to believe that you're gone.If I'd have known you and you were hurting mate I would've hugged you and told you everything will be fine.If you were in pain you covered it up with your up beat energy and personality but you never know what people are going through. This is so sad to hear.

Yes dude!!!!!! So awesome.
Is he from Brooklyn? Hahahaha that was great!
I met Trevor in a gig in Portugal and fuck me dead he was...the happiest dude you could find, but alike one of my best friends who was just alike Trevor... they...sadly took the easy way out. My advice for you all is, be a constant and present friend, like a ...Koala who doesn't leave the tree, hold'em tight whenever and all times.
It sucks that I’ve gotten into them after his passing. Always heard their name but somehow wasn’t ready for them. What a sweetheart, like all metal dudes, the sweetest beings.
Damn I miss this dude. What a genuine soul. RIP Trevor.
One of my favorite bands of all time.
Geez so sad! Trevor was such an lovable character and so friendly to everyone. I would've loved to meet him someday had he not died. RIP
RIP Trevor. I still remember you chatting it up in Dallas about Riley Gale. Love you man!
Man I'd have been stoked to run into Trevor Strnad and listen to some new TBDM tunes
I love the guy in the red shirt. His comments are awesome and the one He mentioned and Asked if the singer is from Brooklyn (because of the screaming).
What he sayin though?? AHHHHH!! He from Brooklyn? Lmao
I never listened to TBDM. I want to now.
Badass band. Just seen them like 2 weeks ago for the 4th time and met trevor for the first time. 😎🍻
The guys who yelled when he asked both in the middle and end were awesome, they felt the energy! The dark spirit of TBDM was strong with them for a moment lol. “What is he saying though, are you from Brooklyn?” I love seeing people react to metal in a positive manor cuz it’s all meant that way at the end of the day.
MORE OF THIS KIND OF VID LOVED IT😂😂
*"Ahhh! ... He from Brooklyn?"* I'm rewatching all these Trevor interviews on KZread. R.i.p buddy.
crying when watching this
