I'm from Czech Republic, and I must say that the beer in the first bar - is really beer. Right foam, right kind of glass, right people doing that.... Excellent! I would never expect something like that to find in NYC. I'm going there next year, so I will stop there - for sure.

We (USA) take our beer seriously, it's not just Budweiser and Miller lites. Microbrewing is huge in the States. IMO and the opinions of others American beer is at the same level of any Bavarian, Czech etc country. You'll see when you visit, the plethora of microbreweries making proper beer.

Czech beer in NYC. That fits together beautifully.

No joke I lived in the apt building next door. Stellar beers on tap 🍻

That Czech place looks amazing. I’ve been to Prague and love the Czech culture and cuisine.

Bohemian Spirit is the third (or maybe fourth?) Czech restaurant in that space. It truly succeeds in bringing Czech pub cuisine to Manhattan, with nothing lost in translation. I once saw Petra Kvitová there!

I was impressed by the Gingerman in Manhattan, the number of choices they give you is overwhelming.

Beer is my weakness!!! Love Pilsner Urquell!

I love a good IPA!

Update: I ended up going and it was awesome. Especially the pickled cheese.

Prague is my favorite city in the world. I have to visit these places next NYC visit. Thanks for another great video!

Amazing! I really like McSorley's with their only two choices... light or dark ale. Maybe continue the beer series with Irish and German places?

Long Island City is a beer haven with all of the breweries!

I grew up back in the country (which does not exist anymore), the beer - lager was the only one available and when the lager was from Czech Republic - this was the best beer in a .5 L glass always, memories!

Who doesn't love a good brew! If anyone is thinking of making their own and lives in the NYC area check out Bitter & Esters in Brooklyn they have beer making classes and supplies and the people are really cool! We made a few cases of some belgian double

It's St. Patrick's 2021 now. Is this place still open?! I had the original P.U. beer in Plzen in 2001 and there is nothing like it on earth!

As a Bavarian I would argue Czech people have no idea about beer :-),... no just kidding of course. Czech beer is great, Pilsner, becherovka and co. are great :-) try if you can... I always tried Staropramen
