There was a place I found wondering the city back in june with my best friend, it was called Just Salad dressing as we were looking for a healthier alternative to some of the other food places we found and a little something that was in our budget considering we were only in the city for the day. If you haven't been and are close by it's on park ave
$3 for a beer + free hot dog and nice ambience too, thanks to explore this place for us.
This is THE most helpful video of travel. Spent 60 on a meal in LA, crying.

Yeah eat that a lot, corner of Eldridge and broom. I usually lock the bathroom key inside the bathroom like a forgetful moron
These cheap meal videos are the most efficient way for me to learn about a city rather than reviewing tourist sights because the neighborhoods these restaurants serve are more genuine and it's much easier to meet people at informal local hangouts.
When I used to live in NYC on a low budget I much preferred to get meals at Delis that offered pay-by-weight buffets, especially after a certain hour when they were priced half off: that way I could get lots of healthy foods, including greens, veggies, whole foods, etc, at a very reasonable price. I also loved press juice places. Staying healthy is really important.

Loving it!!!
Thank you for help 🙏🏻
Amazing video!!
Sarah, not sure when you filmed your info about NYC, but we just returned and there are some things that are different. I think it's important to update these things, because, it made the experience more confusing in some situations. #1. The airtrain from JFK to Manhattan. After you get on the Airtrain and completed the ride, you then pay the $8. They seemed to have now combined the Metro card with the Airtrain, so we have the option to put an extra $8 on the Metro Card to pay for the Airtrain. #2 Also, regarding Newark Airport Express. After getting off the flight and retrieving our luggage from baggage claims, there was no directions or signs that said anything regarding Airport Express, and it was confusing to know where to go. We stopped and asked for info, and after getting directions to the location of the Newark pick up, it was again confusing because, while there was a sign outside that said Newark Airport Express, the bus itself was NOT identified as a Newark Airport Express, it was a random bus that did not identify itself. We asked the driver if this was the Newark Airport Express, and after he confirmed that it was, he asked if we were seniors, and we got our tickets at half price, which I'm not sure you mentioned? I'm not sure we would have received the senior discount on the Newark App, and I don't remember seeing anything about a senior discount on the app. Luckily, we didn't use the app. #3 (FYI) The One World Observatory was horrible, by the way. There was very few people in line, but they charged us EXTRA to go in immediately vs waiting 30-45 minutes. There was no reason to wait 30-45 minutes because there was no one waiting, and yet they charged us anyway. I found this to be very frustrating, and a rip off for unsuspecting tourists. In addition, the Ipad they gave us to look out the windows didn't work, and I waited about 40 minutes for support. There was no staff around to help or oversee customer experience. I contacted them via email about my experiences, and they have not responded. This is terrible, and I hope that you look into it and NOT support this absolute rip off of a tourist trap; especially since it's right next door and sort of connected to the 911 memorial. The other things you mentioned was very good; Clinton Bakery, the Boathouse, etc. I hope you are able to update some things that seemed to have changed for others. Thank you!
awesome video!
Muy buenos videos gracias por los consejos
Thanks for featuring two amazing Astoria restaurants. Run by very nice people, who work hard to produce amazing food!

Hi Sarah good video again. greetz from the Netherlands. +++
My favorite inexpensive pizza place was Patzerias!! I was able to get a huge slice of cheese pizza, some garlic knots, and a can coke all for $5 and change! I loved the pizza and garlic knots and I miss it everyday😍🤤 I’ll have to check out Prince Street next time though!

NY pizza is Neapolitan pizza. The big thick rectangular stuff is Sicilian. Not to start any trouble but if your pizza slice ain't a wedge you can fold in half and walk down the street with the olive oil dripping into your hand, then you don' have a New York slice!
prince street is def my favorite too!!
