That was the best time to be a wrestling fan. So many wild things happening that we’d never seen. The NWO set off the wrestling boom of the late 90’s with that leg drop from Hogan. You think Taker losing at Mania was shocking, that one moment changed the whole entire wrestling business. It’s why Hogan is the GOAT…. He set off both wrestling booms, one as a babyface in the 80’s and the last one as a heel in the 90’s.

Getting off the roids will do that for ya. If you follow the timeline of when he got smaller it was after the steroid dibacle in the early to mid-1990s. You look at him in 1993 his mass is still like it was in the 1980s, but by 1996 when he was in WCW he was pure lean muscle and had lost quite a bit of mass. That's the roids effect. I have to say though around 1997 I was at Toys R Us with my family picking out stuff for Christmas in Clearwater Florida where I grew up, and him, the Giant, Macho Man, and one another I didn't know, came in and cameras were following them and they bought thousands of dollars of toys to go to some fundraising event. He walked right by me and honestly to this day I have never seen a man his height that muscular ever. He really was a sight to behold that the TV just cannot translate.

Look at the adjective!
The Monday night wars…. You just had to live & experience the wrestling era to understand & appreciate what all blood 🩸 sweat 😓 & tears 😭 WCW,NWO,WWE, & ECW did for all of us fans!! It was all just too sweet & amazing to watch It live & In person… I’m starting to get a Nostalgia feeling & high😂😂😂😂😂😂
The truth is finally coming out here. Hulk screwed it all up.
Can anyone tell me what this song is called?
you can call what ever you like but man !! After watching this Documentary !! have a huge respect for Eric Bischoff and NWO man !! just Goose Bumps Every time
ugh... imagine how much bigger Starcade would have been if that screwy finish didn't happen. Such a shame. Feel so bad for Sting.
This stuff stood the test of time more than anything. DX couldn't even hold a candle next to this stuff. They wish.
The first year of NWO and the first 6 months of Wolfpack VS Black and White were near perfect. After 99 it was all downhill.
No docs out there like wrestling docs!
Hogan looked 60 since he was 25.
Hulk fuckin ruined it like always. “Not today brother”
nwo was proberly one of the best factions in wrestling. but nwo is what killed wcw. they won every week because wrestlers had creative control then faction got bigger than wcw roster and it just went sour. the origional nwo with hall nash and hogan was peek nwo
I was 8 - 10 ish I think when the 90's attitude era started and I had no idea it would be remembered so fondly by so many people

the thing with starcade is that it was the fault of one nick patrick
N W O
Sting angle was ruined by Hogan. We all know they were trying to steal some of the WWFs rub with a angle where the ref screws sting but they fucked it up LOL
didn't kno eric had tattoos sweet didn't kno he had it in him great...
they chance this business forever and 4 life
Could you imagine if Bischoff had a backbone..
Four life nwo
The nWo were so fringe they redefined the word ‘adjective’
Best times switching from channel to channel trying to find the best match and storyline. A bag of hot cheetos in my hands with a coca cola.
Kevin Sullivan suggested hogan turned heel NOT Bischoff
Who is that talking at 1:18?

Eric Bischoff..you welcome 😁
I remember at this time, they started a gimmick of fining anyone who did a powerbomb, and kevin nash would doem on purpose and laugh 😂😂. This was such a great era ofwrestling
