    The three most important things about any enclosed mobility aide vehicle are these:- 1. They must have cargo space for shopping, luggage etc. 2. They must be narrow enough to drive on a foot path/sidewalk/pavement without obstructing pedestrians. They must have seat belts heater air conditioning reversing camera motion sensor charging ports radio mirrors lights turning signals displays and functions that are easy to read and operate Central locking. A sunroof, a roof rack or a solar panel are at the discretion of the owner. Oh, and they should not cost an arm and a leg!!!!

    I do most of my sales online and videos are as close to "seeing is believing" you can get online. Some of these videos are thrown together from what the factory sends me, before the scooters arrive and i get my own videos to post. Unfortunately a bad video is a million times better than no video at all.

    From memory the Q-Pod version wont have the 2 speed gearbox and only has 32ah batteries while ours have 45ah in them. @@dennisritter9039 Hi Dennis, these are mobility scooters, the safe speed on the footpath is about 10 to 12 kph and you are asking for a motorway speed capability, of 45 miles per hour to get out if the way of traffic ? There is no traffic, traveling at that speed, on the footpath, to get out of the way of, anywhere in the world, that im aware of. What part of the world are you in ?

  • @dennisritter9039

    Garry S iam in America but after watching the video again your right it goes pretty fast but like I said 45 perhaps to fast i was wanting it to have enough power to climb hills in th if it could reach speeds of at least 25 mph would be nice i lookd on there website they don't offer hear air a stereo or alarm system on these and I have seen one that goes 28 mph and it was a mobility car like this ... I feel 15mph is just not enough power to move out of the traffic when you run out of sidewalk witch you will cause it dont always run on both sides of the road cause of curves in the roads so that being said is why i needed it to go a little quicker to move out of the way.also where do you park these do you park it like a car in a parking spot just curious. Thanks for responding back ..

    @@dennisritter9039 Hi Dennis, In this video you can see the scooter easily handling the river stop bank and thats about 30 degrees ...it can easily handle 45 degrees both at speed and at a crawl. Do not confuse the vehicle you see here with another that looks the same they are not all made equal. There is a company in USA selling these as Q-Pod they are a base unit, no radio, no heat, no air, smallest battery set and certainly no hill climbing ability other than a slight grade. They buy the cheapest version with no frills. Air, in a compact size, electric unit, is something that has only become available recently, few if any, will be able to offer it as an option at this point. Over the years i have had this conversation many times and not once has it moved forward to the point of purchase, because the cost of modifying a single unit and then shipping it always gets in the way. This is a mobility scooter it is not a mobility car and as such it has limited space for larger batteries to support heat and air and a reasonable range with higher speeds, but as i have said before it can be done, but it all comes at a cost.

    Depends on the rules in your country. Yes they are expensive but they are new so you really need to compare them to a new car price not a used one. Also here you can drive one of these without a licence or registration or a warrant of fitness .... i dont think there is anywhere in the world you can do that with a new or used car.

    These do in fact look the same, but i assure you once you know what you need, we do not order the standard vehicle from the factory. I will be very keen to hear your feedback once you have driven these. The specs on their site are so far away from reality its not funny, eg with the little 32 ah batteries you will be lucky to get a 20 mile range and changing the speedo from saying kilometers to miles does not make it go 35 miles an hour when, even before it was changed, they only do 25kph when the speedo reads 35kph.

  • @garrys6194

    @garrys6194

    Jonathan, yes 5 x 32 amp hour batteries and they have room for 5 x 45ah batteries giving a 70k to 80k range. You may not fit 100ah in there without mods, but you should be able to use the extra battery space and the space under the front seat for 2 sets of 32ah, which will take your range up to 100k per charge.
